  1. Before I go further with this, can you try a reinstall. It's crashing as it's loading the TBM plugins, which shouldn't be happening. If it still does this after a reinstall, I'll link Saso who coded it.
  2. Are you crashing after it loads, or does it crash DURING load of the sim?
  3. I’ll need to see a log file, with a crash and all plugins removed. That will tell me a lot more.
  4. I think it varies from PC to PC and the brightness settings. I know someone made a mod for the switches, with white dots on the ends. I don't know the link, but it's found at x-plane.org.
  5. New update coming out with steering "fix". Time stamp to the point Brett landed with the nose steering update (Not available to non testers yet) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/412344888?t=02h22m41s

    CTD

In most cases, if an add on stops crashing because of removing another plugin, it's the other plugin causing the problem. The TBM has almost definitely exploited and revealed a bug in the xlife code.
  7. Reverse 2 and 3. CTOT will kick in at 64° Power Lever angle. This can be seen in the 2d pop up for the throttle quadrant.
  8. Needing the log.txt file found in your root X-Plane folder
  9. (Sorry, was half asleep. Just saw now in your first post you were in flight) You've definitely missed something then. If it happens again, can you post a screenshot of your ECS panel so I can see exactly what is going on.
  10. It's definitely not normal, and I just tried it myself right before I posted, and had no problem starting. So I'm guessing it's something on your end. Are you sure you're following the right procedure? Do you, possibly, have some kind of script running that controls fuel mixture? Is your fuel mixture assigned to a button or slider on your hardware?
  11. Please post your log.txt file. Preferably immediately after a crash.
  12. Is the engine running?
  13. This might mean your TBM is not activated. Try re-activating using the Gizmo toolbar
  14. Definitely. Saso is also 100% dedicated to making sure you're all taken care of. All in good time.

Your Oculus Rift is causing X-Plane to crash. Your GPU drivers are also a little outdated. Current drivers are 425.31 Seeing as there was a major fix to the rain in VR, that required updated drivers (I think 419.xx was the recommended version number for the last TBM update) I would advise updating your GPU drivers first, and then seeing if that stops the crashes. Please post back if this works.
  16. lol. I'll see what I can do.

    icing bug

It could very well be X-Plane doing X-Plane things. I wanted to see the log file because that could give me a clue as to what may be going on to cause the snow. Whether it's software related of hardware related. In any case, it looks as though it was a freak cold snap.
  18. Check to see if the VS numbers change when you click the dial. I think the actual wheel still needs to be animated, but the numbers changing should work
  19. Just saw this forum post. Apologies. Yes, you are correct. No way to quick disconnect the battery.
  20. You can either click, hold mouse button, and drag left for reducing altitude level or click hold and drag right to increase. You can also use scroll wheel. Scroll forward to increase and scroll backward to decrease.
  21. Does everything else work properly?
  22. Are you clicking and dragging left and right to adjust it?

Can you attach a log file so I can see what’s going on. Found in your root X-Plane folder.
  24. If it’s still not working with a vanilla install of xplane, then it’s 100% something on your end. I have a vanilla install of X-Plane, and can not reproduce this problem. Try running a scan disk or check your page file allocation.
