  1. Thanx Ola. Appreciate that. For those of you having problems viewing the document, I used a different converter. Please try the link again to download. http://users.tpg.com.au/captaing//LES_Beech_Duchess_POH.pdf
  2. Very nice screenshots. I've noticed a few screenshots where people are flying with the tacho at redline. I think I'll write up a tutorial today to show you how to fly a Constant Speed prop aircraft. Maybe throw in some navigation stuff with the HSI too.
  3. I'll be looking into this today, guys. Again, apologies. But it's a big mystery. Goran
  4. Cool, thanks Jim. It's certainly puzzling why Markus is having problems with it.
  5. Microsoft Word 2007 and converting with foxit pdf converter on Windows 7
  6. There are a few features I added to the Duchess that may not be easily found and haven't been added to the manual. Adjustable Sun Visors (Hover the mouse around the Visors and the cursor changes to a hand. Simply drag them down or up.) Adjustable seats (Same as the Visors. Hover the mouse over any front seat and it changes to a double arrow. Drag the mouse forward or backward to adjust seat position. This is just a fun thing and does NOT adjust the pilots position.) Turning up the cabin lights will bring up a glare or reflection in the front and side windows. Added some nice ambient light coming from the GPS and transponder squawk ident light. These are better seen at night. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Feel free to discover any more. Goran
  7. Perhaps you can try Foxit PDF reader. I know that works as well. I'll look into it and maybe even use another PDF converter. Anyway, many thanks for the comments. I can't take all the credit though. It's just my modelling and gauge animations/programming. Theo gave it all the color. We actually made a point to make sure everything was clearly visible. Goran
  8. Woah!? I'm not sure putting a link up to the manual would be useful as it's the exact same file. Would it be possible to download Adobe Acrobat Reader and use that to see if it works? Here's what I see when I open it up. Obviously the first page. In any case, here's a temporary link until Cameron gets back online. http://users.tpg.com.au/captaing//LES_Beech_Duchess_POH.pdf Many apologies for this. Goran
  9. Before posting questions regarding how to fly the Duchess and other technical specific questions, please read the manual. Have fun and happy flying!
  10. The fuselage has been completely remodeled. So with that being said, the psd files for the exterior of the Sundowner that's currently available will be obsolete once the update is out. Theo is working on getting one ready very soon after the update is out. Everything is done now but for the panel regions, 2 more textures and manipulators
  11. Steven, Thank you for putting those up. Out of all the photos I have of the Sundowner, I don't have a 3/4 photo to show the aircraft in perspective and compare it to the aircraft in the sim. The update is very close to finished. I'll be looking for more screenshots should you put them up.
  12. ahhh, so ****** strikes again. His work is truly brilliant. (Name was edited out by me)
  13. That panel looks great, Tom. Good competition.
  14. In any case, it's good to see some high quality GA coming to XP. Good competition.
  15. While I was reading this thread on the first page, I was saying to myself "I'm surprised Nicolas didn't get to Carenado first". We'll see what happens.
  16. How about Simon does one with you, Eric? Not much is known about what you do in scenery creation. The basics are pretty easy to figure out but the stuff I've seen that's coming from your corner of XA is pretty damn impressive.
  17. Note that it says GAME STUDIOS under the main window.
  18. We're sorry this is the only thing stopping you from buying this aircraft. FYI Garmin 300 in the Sundowner I fly: Garmin 430 in another Sundowner on airliners.net: Many pilots still use a GPS. And as Cameron said, people complain when we don't add it. To answer your other question, it is not possible to remove the Garmin without removing some other parts of the panel as the Garmin is grouped with them in the export process. There are no plans to remove it in the update. Goran
  19. I think it's still far too early to point out any criticisms in XP 10. If it was ready, it would be on the market. V9 went from 9.2 to 9.6 and is still being improved. What you are seeing is most likely not the final version. AFAIC, I think it looks spectacular and can't wait to get my hands on it.
  20. Update is moving along nicely. This update has been several weeks worth of work. What is being done is: Completely remodeled fuselage and interior to give a smoother appearance. (DONE) Completely remodeled main panel background (where the gauges are mounted). (DONE) Aileron trim added. (DONE) Completely remodeled propeller. (DONE) More manipulators added (adjustable seats and visors). (Pending) Circuit breakers texture fixed. (DONE) Improved night lighting. (Pending) Faster load times with lower usage of VRAM. (Pending) SFC and some engine parameters slightly adjusted. (DONE) Not exactly sure when it will be complete and ready for download but it will definitely be soon. Appreciate your patience and support. To show our appreciation, we're working on something to thank you all for the support you have shown us. This will be a small gift made available to anyone who wants it. More on that in the coming days.
  21. Too early to tell. It's possible we might but to be honest, I just don't know. If you had to nail me down and get an answer out of me, I would say it's 50/50 that I'll add it. It depends what's involved in texturing another fuselage. If I do end up adding it, I'll let you know when we have the original one textured.
  22. PLANEMAKER/ENGINE SPECS/PROPELLER A whole bunch of prop figures to enter there. You have to enter the chord ratio and sometimes the chord offset. Don't forget to select the correct airfoil for the props and wings. If x-plane doesn't have them, you need to make your own in airfoil maker or javafoil if you want the most realism.
