  1. Hi team, Loving skymaxx (clouds through eyes in VR not included) but I get this line on the horizon when there is no blending and its rather hard with Skymaxx v4 (latest version) any ideas?
  2. FYI both myself and my friend using latest Skymaxx in VR have the exact same problem. It was foggy in YBBN this morning and I had fog and clouds coming through my cockpit (felt like into my eyes). I might need to drop this for now, wait like @Gildahl. However happy to do what I can to help identify the issue and support to make the changes needed.
  3. Hi Jan, Looks like I'm having better success by updating Gizmo to the beta, so far so good with no changes to any other plugins.
  4. Thanks @Litjan, Does a list exist of problem plugins?
  5. Downloaded the Nav data again and this fixed the issues with the FMC and loading in a route - not sure the crashing though.
  6. Hi Team, All good - I've had it crash twice on stream tonight so unfortunately have given up. Upon the second time, i had some interesting issues putting in the route which is also on the video I've skipped to the time it did crash (50:30) Log.txt GizmoLog.txt
  7. I keep getting this error in my xplane log after a crash G64:1620.751: Memory Allocation Error: Run(timer): xs_sound_engine: not enough memory
  8. Hi @sundog, A number of VR users including myself also have the same problem with clouds coming through the cockpit as you fly through clouds. I've been able to handle it but 2 of my friends have dropped the software while they wait for a fix, fingers crossed this can be sorted. Cheers, DJ
  9. No more instant engine starts? Cant wait for this!
  10. Great to hear I'm not the only one @joers182 its a bit of an interesting one as I'm in love with the TBM but cannot run it the same as the other aircraft. It would be good if we could get further comment maybe from the Devs shedding some light on this? Thanks for the kind words also mate! Glad you're enjoying the streams!
  11. No change reverting from 416.16 to 391.35 or with turning on Hyperthreading on the CPU
  12. I use Process Lasso however same result, I will revert everything back to default including the drivers and see what happens. No AA outside of the sim and no to Xenviro. One of the thought mentioned to me is that possible (unlike other addons) the TBM is heavily threaded resulting in a stutter as I have Hyperthreading off. Maybe I should keep everything how it is and go downclock my CPU, put HT back on and retest?
  13. Very minimal change to the situation (If any) by setting AA to off inside X-Plane
  14. Hi @VAL067 Thanks for getting back to me, It's currently set to 2x SSAA+FXAA - which I thought was pretty easy going? I will retest now turning it off. Hmm using something like Nvidia Inspector and locking the frame rate to 25fps just made it all stuttery in my headset so I don't know?
  15. Hi All, I wanted to share some thoughts and experiences I've noticed trying to lock down my settings to achieve a constant 45fps in VR with a smooth as possible flight experience. You can see from my signature that my PC is no slouch and I am one of those "tinkerers" that love going through all the possible combinations to try and achieve the perfect result. As an avid X-Plane VR pilot, the TBM is one of my absolute go-to aircraft when I don't want to fly a tube. Unfortunately I've been really struggling with an issue around threaded optimization (If you are unclear about what I am talking about, I have added a screenshot from the Nvidia control panel below). For my system, having Threaded Optimization ON helps and gives me a boost in FPS across the board allowing me (with the joint effort of 3jfps) to maintain a constant 45fps in 95% of situations. An example of what I'm trying to achieve is to maintain 45FPS into complex airports, flying into regions such as ORBX's full terrain UK with the TBM in stormy weather. I have included two additional images of the frame rate difference, one with Threaded Optimization on and one with it off. I know it's not a huge jump but when we're talking VR and only needing 45, every one counts when you put all that excess load on X-Plane/your system. This is now where I hit the problem, every other aircraft I have from the Flight Factor 767, Zibo 737, Aerobask aircraft all run like button in VR. The TBM? I get this sort of pulsing and slight jumping non-fluid movement. Well why not simply have Threaded Optimization turned off when flying the TBM? Well the increase in performance by having it on means I can hit that 95% of situations whereby I can maintain the 45fps for VR. With threaded Optimization off, yes my TBM/Sim is buttery smooth (in less demanding areas) but I take that hit and reduction in FPS when flying into more complex areas that are normally alleviated by having Threaded Optimization on. Video of Threaded Optimization ON with ASW OFF: https://youtu.be/ECWpQNCwrdA Video of Threaded Optimization OFF with ASW OFF: https://youtu.be/kh5Wfm_Y6s8 Video of Threaded Optimization ON with ASW ON: https://youtu.be/K84a7xHas2c Video of Threaded Optimization OFF with ASW ON: https://youtu.be/TwfvpPgHDfE Video of the Zibo 737 with Threaded Optimization ON and ASW ON for comparison: https://youtu.be/p5o3ZjobORQ On a side note: All videos taken using an Oculus Rift and OTT 0.85.1 I experience the same warping regardless of having 3jFPS on/off locking the framerate to 45 on/off. Using Oculus Tray Tool to Limit the ASW on/off/45 My 8700K has Hyper Threading turned off - I got another boost from doing this, So instead of 6 cores + 6 threads, its just 6 cores. I hope this doesn't sound like nitpicking but I'm curious to know the reasons behind it, if something can be done and what other people's experience has been?

I also had this, last night on stream actually which was disappointing. Hope you guys can get to the bottom of it, let me know if I can be of any help.
  17. They'll get to it, be patient
  18. Thanks very much @RobW05 So Ops Normal until I activate the approach when clrd?
  19. Another flight into EDDF I've setup for the GITEX 4P taking me from GITEX to DLE for the ILS Y DLE transition for 27L
  20. Hi All, Got a bit of an odd one for you all. I keep getting the Airport ICAO stuck in between my arrivals and approach. The scenario is, I'll have a flight (like the one in the picture below) from LOWI to LICA. This has been exported from PFPX and the last waypoint before I put any arrival in is LICA. I'll go to put a arrival in and keep getting the Airport ICAO in the middle of the arrival like below. If I delete it I'm left with a route discontinuity. Anyone have this issue with the latest version of the TBM? Another example below:
  21. At the very minimum, ice on the wings would be great!
  22. Hi Guys, Sorry for the silly question, say you're flying a route about an hour long and it has maybe 3-4 waypoints. You have an arrival at the end, so that has put in some altitudes for you as you have selected and entered the arrival. My question is; which waypoints do you set your cruise altitude in? Obviously the first waypoint will be close so there is no way of me getting to FL230 at that point, do I still enter it in? I'm a little confused about which waypoints you would put your cruise in. Cheers, Sean
  23. Can we see ice build up on the wings in VR? Are we simply talking about windscreen effects? Cheers
  24. Hi Guys, Absolutely fantastic effort, well worth the wait! You guys are rock stars! One question I do have is am I going blind or is there no way to turn down the displays? Flying at night I'm almost blinded by the G1000! DJ
