  1. You certainly turned the CRS-1 (or CRS-2 for FCC 2) selector to the inbound course of 248, right? Jan
  2. Thank you for your feedback about the VNAV performance. We are still tuning it and hope to improve it, although I do read a fair amount of user misconception about how it is supposed to work in your post. About the claim of the light intensity not being correct - may I ask you how many hours you have in real Boeing airliners? Just to confirm the credibility of your claim, of course. Thank you very much, Jan
  3. Hello Igor, It is great to see this finally come to fruition! I hope I was at least some help during the development, and I think this will create an even better immersion for our plane! Good job, Jan
  4. Hi Ian - thanks for the offer! I will talk to Tom and will get back to you. I personally would love to have that, since the real FMS does it, too. Cheers, Jan
  5. Added to log, thx Tom!
  6. Hi Michael, the autopilot will supersede the flight-director - but the question is - if AP A is in command, but FD switch A is off - will there be a MA light on the left side? I think so. So maybe the logic is like this: Whenever any FD switch is on, there will be a MA light. If an AP is in CMD, then the MA light will be on that side, even if that side FD switch is off. If no AP is in CMD then the MA light will be on the side of the FD switch that is on AND was switched on first. So your second row would be: .... B Master .... A+B Master third row: ... A Master .... A+ B Master Jan
  7. Sounds about right. Jan
  8. As far as I know, there is no data for transition altitude in the data set of airports... But we will look into having this store between sessions like some other values do. Jan
  9. Hi Markus, yes, once you loose AC power (engines off) you can´t get the fuel from the center tank... The center tank fuel pump low pressure warning is disabled if the switches are off. Some thinking has to be done by the pilots on this plane, this is not an Airbus . You should be able to lower your landing gear with the manual gear extension, we currently have a bug where this doesn´t work when you don´t have battery power. We will fix that. Jan
  10. Idea is noted. For the future: Ideas and suggestions will be ranked much higher on my internal list if posted in the correct forum subsection . Jan
  11. We coded the MA lights to always be on whenever an FD or AP is on - to indicate which side FCC is master. But you are right - the lights should be OFF when the FD switches are off... Nils will kill me Jan
  12. Re-download the full version 1.0.7 here - hotfix servers are down for a bit. Jan
  13. I am certain it is something with your computer - since no one else reported this. Either you need to exempt your X-Plane folder from your virus scanner (avast, windows defender, ...) or there is a heat problem (if you run on Mac). Jan

    Custom speeds

Thanks, we will look at this! Jan
  15. Thanks for the reports and the investigative efforts! We will look at this one! Jan
  16. Not sure if turn direction is specified in the database. If it is not, the plane will default to a right turn, I believe. We will look at it, Jan
  17. There has been a time (after the Pittsburgh crash) when all maneuvering speeds were increased by 10 kts (crossover issue). So in case the rudder freaks out, you can still counteract that with the ailerons. But that was uniformly for all speeds (i.e. Up = 220kts). So I am not sure where the discrepancy comes from. You can certainly use flaps 10 to fly 160 (we do it in London, where the controllers have a hissy-fit if you don´t fly EXACTLY 160 to 4 DME...). You could also use flaps 15 to fly 150, but the gear warning will freak out if you pull out the power... Jan
  18. Yes, we had to implement that because we have many U.S. users - so we will have both until the US sees the error in their ways... Jan
  19. We also have a system in place that will initialize your TA to either 18000 (western hemisphere) or 5000 (eastern hemisphere). Jan
  20. Hi Tom, thanks for the report! Jan
  21. Hi, there is no non-normal procedure for that. It is very rare, fortunately, but what has happened is that the battery charger failed, the battery drained and the planes generators dropped offline. Fortunately the weather was good (not even standby power)... Jan
  22. Hi, also check your joystick setup and "CWS deadband" setting in the Preferences menu. Sometimes joysticks interfere with the autopilot (like a pilot would in the plane if he pushed on the yoke while the AP is flying...) Jan
  23. Thanks for reporting back, Tchou!
  24. Thanks for the report, the video and the .txt! This will help us fix this issue... Cheers, Jan
