Hi from the Cockpit 3D guy. If you mean you can see through the yokes from behind, that is not really a bug but a measure to optimize the 3D mesh by not modelling a surface I did not deem to be visible in normal use of the model. Not a big deal to add and certainly not a big performance hit in the scale of things, we've tried to economize where we thought it would not matter.

Ok thanks everyone for the confirmation. Expect this fix to go out soon. As far as Vatsim is concerned, I was never able to reproduce any light issues with XSquawkbox and so I can only hope that, to the extent the issues exists there too for some users, this fix takes care of the same. If not, let us hear it.
-
If someone confirms that picture I posted looks right, this should be out in the next hotfix.

Ok to detect LNAV you could probably use ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_lnav_ann for most purposes. Our dataref convention is to suffix dataref names with _act for actuators (e.g. buttons and switches), _ind for indicators (i.e. animated needles) and _ann for annunciators (e.g. the little lights on the mcp buttons).
-
Hi Antonello, the 737 autopilot is a 100% custom coded system so you will unfortunately not have any use for the default autopilot datarefs. If you specify in detail what you need we can possibly put some new datarefs on our to-do list.
-
Hi all, think I might have narrowed in on this bug. Can I get some help in confirming that this is what you'd expect to see on IVAO? My understanding is that the blocky callsign text is a known issue and unrelated to the 737.
-
Good to hear that!

Hi Javier, first thing I would check that my pitch and roll control inputs are well within the "CWS deadband" in the Preferences menu so that you are not inadvertantly triggering CWS.
-
Hi Tyler, Can you attach your Log.txt and gizmo.log please? It allows us to look for hardware patterns and other leads of people who have sound issues. As a backup strategy, I'm planning to move the EGPWS call-outs over from X-planes default sound to our custom sound engine which I'm hoping will take care of this definitely however that will take little while yet to accomplish.
-
Hi, the EGPWS system model is simplified in the current version of the 737. A complete model of this system is planned for a later version.
-
Hi we are looking into this one already. We save the preferences whenever the 737 is unloaded and another aircraft is loaded but obviously something is not working as intended. For now just refrain from flying other aircraft than ours please Thanks!
-
I'm certain that they are.
-
Yeah since those are just there for visual reference I believe (it's been a while) we just animated them using some arbitrary keyframe values. It's probably not too hard to work out the scaling though.

Hi Tom, Jan and I discussed and agree that you indeed found a glitch here which will be taken care of in the next patch. The 733 can capture the GS from above, but many operators don't allow it and therefor require their crews to use VORLOC to intercept the localizer and to select APP once established. This currently works fine, provided the roll channel has gone from VORLOCARM to VORLOC first.
-
Ken, I'm looking into that VOR capture issue but it seems to work as intended here. What VOR were you tracking in the video?
-
Dear all, you seem to have discovered a very interesting electro magnetic phenomena, involving microwaves in the radar spectrum hitting metal wires at the appropriate distance and angle, known to cause optical hallucinations with aircrews. Edit: fixed in next patch,

Seems I may have to...

That sounds a little odd. Would that be this dataref you are writing to? sim/cockpit2/radios/actuators/nav1_obs_deg_mag_pilot
-
Hi this was reported already and is caused by a silly copy paste error on the code - a solution will come in the next hotfix! If you are able to identify the other repeating sound please report it in a separate topic - it's easy to miss individual posts in this one. Thanks!

Hi are you on v 1.0.3? If yes, did you experience these problems in the previous version? Skickat från min iPad med Tapatalk
-
Hi Berndt, 1) That's strange. Realistic mode is filling center tank here. 2) This is probably because the aircraft moves a little from the abrupt weight changes. Will introduce a bit more tolerance to this. Thanks!
-
Ok, not able to reproduce this at the moment. Can you share more details on your aircraft configuration when you get this problem? Flap setting, trim setting, speedbrake setting, park brake setting?
-
Hi Tom, it shouldn't be doing that. I'm able to reproduce this one and can hopefully get it fixed in the next patch. Thanks for the report!
-
Hi Lothar, is your elevator trim in the green range when this happens? The horn should only go off if you have brakes applied, no flaps extended or an out-of-trim condition.

We model the fuel levels in the tanks with regards to pitch attitude and acceleration. If you are low on fuel in a tank and pitch up or accelerate, the fuel will rush aft in the tanks and uncover the pump standpipes.
