Fantastic!

Time to plan some flights in XP12 for this wee beauty! Images look beautiful Would I be correct in guessing that the rest of the original planes will be getting the XP12 overhaul?

Ive been flying v1 for years and can never get enough (wife and kids think otherwise!), so Im really excited to hear my fav plane is getting an update! My wallet is ready and waiting Goran!

oh man this is awesome!!! I'm still flying the original in the current version of XP 11.5b6 and it flies well, but a new updated version will be just mint! Cant wait!!!!

I just tried out the new beta as well. With mt default settings under OpenGL I get around 20FPS flying in NZCH (my home town), turned on Vulkan, restarted the sim and got a fairly healthy 70fps!!! Now Im not running the latest tech, Ryzen i5 clocked at 3.9. 8 GB's ram and an older GTX1050ti with 4 GB vram. I cranked the settings and while Im only getting low 30's for FPS I can now fly with objects at max!! Everything else was set to high except reflections and the "everything casts shadows" as this crashed my system!!! AA is set at 4x (forget the acronyms for the AA settings but its the SSAA?). I'm very happy with the increase I got for an older system and cant wait to see the final release of 11.50 I did test this flying the default Cessna 172 (steam gauges version...).

Hi everyone. I was searching for some affordable sim parts for a home built cockpit I'm working towards and found a company called Propwash Sims (https://www.propwashsim.com). This is a new company to my understanding but have set the mark for quality and affordability. I recently bought the Plug and Play Radio Panel designed for XP11 (the unit in question https://www.propwashsim.com/node/38). It arrived today, about a week after I ordered it. The unit is very well manufactured with a bright display so it can be easily seen in a brightly lit room. The components are very sturdy and will handle a lot of use over time. The unit comes as a panel with exposed electronics, its recommended that you mount on either a rack type system, s in a real panel, or in an enclosure from the local electronics suppliers near you. You are given a USB cable to connect everything up with and the setup is very quick and easy. You will be supplied a plugin after purchase that is installed into the plugins folder within XP. I have tested it with the other plugins that we need to run our favourite planes and it works fine with all of them. The setup instructions for the plugin are very simple to follow, you just choose a COM port, then type of panel you are using (you have a choice configurable by a dropdown menu in X-plane for either Com1, Com2, Nav1, Nav2, ADF/Transponder or GPS-Groundspeed/Distance.), and then start flying. It works in real time so when you change a COM setting you see it change in XP at the same time. This company is well worth looking into if you are either adding to an existing layout or just starting out. The quality is at the higher end of the market, similar to the GoFlight modules etc. The service was fast, all questions answered quickly and professionally. I would very quickly recommend this company. I am told by the team there that some new panels are coming out, as to when Im not to sure. They will also be at the FlightSimExpo so if you are there pop in and see them!

What a fantastic video!!!! I noticed that the Duke's yoke never moved during your turns and climbs yet the levers on the THQ did. Is this something that can be turned off and on? Loved the Twotter, is that the STMA version or another companies? You don't see Ed Force One (BIG Iron Maiden fan...photographed the plane in question at NZCH when they played here, saw them in concert as well....good times ), everyday either, guess they had a concert in the Himalayas that night?? How do you mean "downloaded" all the disks. the demo is a single install, and the genuine version has about 5 (?) dvd's (been a while since I instaldled XP9, have been using 10 since it was released a while ago...). Just curious is all......maybe the "download" had a corrupt file somewhere? Slainte. Andy NZCH

I downloaded and nothing nasty was waiting so take a chance and download this. Besides, if you have a good virus scanner it will detect any threats and alert you to them, mine does That aside, Aegen thank you for creating this skin.....I used to see her flying over my house nearly every weekend, its a pity she has moved to Ashburton ( I live in Christchurch,about 2 hours north of Ashburton....) to sit and wait,although I feel her days are numbered for getting back into the air again. Hehehe, all that plumbing and wiring......its gonna be great I remember making a 3d lotus 49 f1 car (1697 GP), the wiring gave me a headache but the uv map was insane!!!!! I Have learnt to model things better and more efficiently now days, but the images of the uv map still haunt me.....and then there was the AO map....... Slainte, Andy NZCH

very nice.....although you are missing a set of road wheels at the back 2d mapping isnt that hard as long as you have set your UV's out properly, something that will prove a challenge with the detail of the B29s engines. Still, its looing good and your modelling skills are really coming along nicely. Cant wait to see more!!!! Slainte, Andy NZCH
