  1. Laminar Research have released an infographic generated from your opt-in usage data. https://twitter.com/XPlaneOfficial/status/671741283187097600 ( Gizmo was not involved in the making of this. )
  2. Actually, it's about the ridiculous policies that both VATSIM and IVAO have regarding their client software. You get what they'll let you pay for.
  3. Looks like you're trying to use 32bit CRJ in 64 bit X-Plane..
  4. I'm also a "jump in and fly for fun" kinda guy. You won't find me doing cross country on VATSIM. The 737 is addictive to fly. It beckons you to learn the systems more deeply. The fact that the IXEG team have poured so many hours into doing the systems right is deeply rewarding. The autopilot is easy enough that you can jump in and mess around doing a hop to a nearby airport for fun. The systems are deep enough that it goes beyond the feeling of a game. It's genuinely constructive to learn.
  5. Build for yourself. Build with passion. Share with as many people as you can afford to.
  6. This has nothing to do with the Saab. Please post your Log.txt and your GizmoLog.txt as attachments so we can see what you've got loaded.
  7. ...and then, once you figure out all the not simple details of drawing and physics, you have to try and shoe horn/squeeze/cram/stuff that into x-planes incredibly limited possibilities for actually letting you SEE the texture and effects, which usually has an awesome side effect like ruining the alpha channels of something like clouds, glass, or buildings or whatever... plenty of historical bugs out there on this. We're not ignorant of these effects and things like spherical reflection mapping. We don't do "it" because we're fully aware of all the horrible compromises that have to be made.
  8. The only "First" we care about is being "First" when you think of quality products.
  9. Activations are limited to three hardware ID's. Re-activations for the date issue would not have affected your quota as the machine-id would be the same. Cameron should be able to help you out if you file a support ticket here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php (Support tickets are answered in the order received. It's important to file via the form so everyone gets equal and fair attention.)
  10. Good to hear we solved the issue. If it has Internet access you should be able to set it up to automatically update to the correct time. Good luck.
  11. Check the system clock. It's very likely wrong.
  12. Sorry for the language confusion. "Corrupt" in this message means "jumbled", "garbage" or "junk". We will help you activate as soon as possible. Your patience during this busy weekend is appreciated.
  13. If you didn't change your OS install the license system should detect as "the same machine" and re-activate just fine. It won't use any additional activations. The default allowance is 3 machine ID's with a re-activation period of six months to allow a couple of significant upgrades per year without interruption. Hope that helps.
  14. I'm hoping to squeeze a few more frames out of Gizmo before the end of the year so you've got at least that to look forward to.
  15. "Tightly Integrated" GPU's have always been a problem. Ever seen a GPU driver update for a cheap Wintendo Laptop? Didn't think so. As for crashing, well, for me, the Apple drivers crash already whenever they feel like it.
  16. nVidia are releasing drivers for Mac directly. http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2015/08/31/mac-driver/
  17. Thanks for confirming that an update of the Ground Handling Plugin resolves this issue.
  18. The only thing in this thread that indicates that you are a "Quality Assurance Engineer" are the words "Quality Assurance Engineer".
  19. Do it properly, hire a VPN. They're only about $5 a month. Using random HTTP proxies run by unknown agents is a REALLY bad idea in todays world.
  20. It's worth a try. It'll be easier than the detailed diagnostics that support will need you to run. Thanks for your patience.
  21. Have you tried an older driver version? I'm guessing it might be some weird OpenGL thing... The error message doesn't give me much to go on and it's not a new machine, its a new GPU card, so... If an older driver doesn't help we're going to need you to submit an X-A support ticket so that we can assist you in detail. Mention this thread in your ticket and we can get your download counters reset too. Sorry I can't help get you going today. :|
  22. Plugin is corrupt. Have you tried re-installing the Saab package?
  23. Meanwhile all the rotting components create all sorts of wonderful data corruption possibilities. Faulty electronics are not worth the frustration and wasted time.
  24. Thanks for reporting that. I've seen reports in the past that XSP can create problems. It works for some people though... I've spent some time in the last week investigating this and attempting to re-create the XSP conditions (I dont have any of the saitek hardware) bit so far I haven't had much luck making Gizmo recreate a fault. Thanks again for reporting back. It helps a lot.
  25. You need a time on your system thats within +- 12 hours of internationally accepted correct time. Activation is not your issue here sir. Your computer is dead.
