Hello all..
I have started to look at ultrawide monitors.
I currently have a 27" 1440p 16:9 monitor. And I have been looking at a 34" 3440x1440 21:9.
Anyone have some experience with ultrawide monitors and x-plane ? is it worth it?
Im not sure at all. But I think it I read somewhere that one reason for this is that the autothrottle is certified for +/- 5 knots. So setting speed to VREF +5 will avoid getting below VREF when autothrottle are engaged.
Hello Nes
Just tested this and I hear the morse code for VOR1 when selecting NAV 1. As you have done on your screenshot.
But the sound is very low, so it can be hard to hear.
I have only done one flight with v1.2 and XP11. And I found the fuel usage to be pretty much spot on compared to XP10 and my profile in PFPX. This flight was at FL360 and at mach .74(CI20)
With v1.1 in XP 11 I had about 20-30% lower fuel consumption than XP10.
EDIT: are you using XP10 or XP11 ? And are you sure you selected the correct version of x-plane when the installer asked for it ?
Nice one.. I have seen all the videoes pre the release. But actually forgot that one.. So I guess you have the answer how it should be done there
One difference was that I was setting the VREF to + 15 knots for the flaps 15 landing. Maybe I did misunderstand the QRH checklist.
Yeah.. a 737-300 would be awesome to try in a full motion simulator. I feel "pretty" confident with the ixeg 733, but im sure I would sweat a bit in a real 733 sim
Had to look at some old pictures from 2006.
Very nice.. And lucky you..
Last time I was in a full motion 738NG sim (SAS Flight Academy at Gardermoen) was in 2006.. So it would be fun to try it again.
If I remember correct we payed 300NOK (about $36) for every 6th minute
The flight dynamics for the 733 is not correct also due to the changes that came with X-Plane 11.
So that will also make you reach T/C earlier when using XP11.
The pushback issues is a side effect due to the "ninja fix" for XP11.
I personally use http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/19258-ez-pushback/

You are missing opensceneryx library..
You can download it from here https://www.opensceneryx.com/
EDIT:
I see you have it sort of. 10 Custom Scenery/OpenSceneryX/
But maybe the installation of OpenSceneryX failed or not complete.
