  1. :-) not at all oh wait, there is one more (i assure the last) thing that came into my mind: Sometimes they say "thrust set". Not sure if it would be right to just map "thrust set" to that button ??: ok, thats it! Thanks a lot :-) I am not going to mention the sound randomization they bring with XP11 (http://www.x-plane.com/2016/11/fmod-sound-x-plane-11/) :==)
  2. supreme +1 :-)! Now, only the french, spanisch, american, russian, chinese.. accents are missing Folks, where are your submissions? It would be a great one as well, if the sound could somehow be spacially classified. So, if the First officer does the call outs, this would slightly lead to hearing his voice more from the right audio speaker :-) :-)
  3. supreme :-) what about the gear up?
  4. this should really be done by a real airline pilot, it somehow feels inappropriate :-) posrate.mp3 gear up.mp3 80 knots.mp3
  5. German accent, Set number 1 (But this can be scrapped, since wen expect Jan´s input) V2.mp3 V1.mp3 rotate.mp3
  6. You could ask people here in the forum to record those 4 words and tell what country they come from. There is a webservice that allows to record something online and save it instantly as a audio file. Its fast and easy. (http://vocaroo.com) You could then associate the files with airlines (liveries). So, a Lufthansa 737 PNF would then get that famous german accent, a United PNF the "unique" american ... and the french, o lala :-) Why not call for recordings/files here and now :-)
  7. why not simply record the soundfiles? :-)
  8. What about the weird redrawing of clouds? still there as always?
  9. :-) holy christ
  10. nope, I have seen this for the first time
  11. just cannot get enough of this bobby :-)
  12. good evening folks, just recorded a strange behaviour that occurs when the AP has to deal with a little overspeed. Please watch the IAS/MACH values on the main panel... www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x50vbl2 (might be one of the retired Lufthansa bobbies :-) Thanks
  13. Any news on this?
  14. Right. But putting the herein discussed list on the todo list might require some, let's say waterboarding
  15. So, let's kidnap Jan

  18. Hi, it seemes there are some errors drawing the AMRI2S SID at LSZB/Switzerland. (IXEG 1.0.7, XPL 10.50, Navigraph 1610) IXEG_FMS_debug.txt
  19. Thank everyone for the clarification. During this discussion and some poking around the net, i just realized that we are talking abot 2 different processes concerning possible weather requests into the machines. 1. Fetching weather - Weather data for calculations The first is related to (complex) forecasts, where weather is requested and injected in probably a lot of calculations (descend, cruise, alternate calc...) I think most of you reffered to this point, because i misleadingly posted a that screenshot. 2. Fetching weather - METAR data (ACARS) The second is related to ACARS only, which have nothing to do wit any calculations. This is simply grabing METAR data and presenting them on the screen of the CDU/FMC.... Besides the METAR, ATIS seemes to be a common data thats fetched via ACARS?! I know that this things (esp. ATIS) are of a low priority. I think we all can understand that. But having (one day) especially the METAR fetching routine within a ACARS section in the IXEG 737 would make at least the PilotEdge/IVAO/VATSIM simmer pretty happy. I would expect the effort of fetching and presenting METARs should not to be that huge. I am quite surprised why this ACARS functions have never made theire way into a FSX/P3D/X-Plane cockpit (afaik). Thank you
  20. I would have expected the same Tchou was just stating. From what i thought, you enter an icao Code into the machine and the 737 grabs the metar from lets say NOAA and presents it. From what I remember, the process of recceiving the metar takes some time in the real units, up to single digit minutes. Correct me if I am wrong.
  21. Bad News. May i ask why this is never going to come?
  22. it seemes, the only missing thing is that huge plastic box :-)
  23. I can understand criley´s concern. A number of vendors (to be honest many major x-plane developers) have made announcements that have been forgotten. Mainly first major updates are neglected. Just think about the Airbus A350 (stupidly missing SIDS/STARS) or the 767 (horrible VNAV), the C172 (horrific frames), some other Airbuses out there. Heaps of unfinished work. Some of today we do not know when the products are to be completed. Certanly, the IXEG 737 has an exceptional position in "the industry" and IXEG communication toward the customer was previously simply great. So the product, even if there is a lot to be done. Compared to other vendors, IXEG was fair and told people whats is gonna be in and what´s left out for updates. A good way to calm down people´s fear and doubt is to communicate what IXEG is currently working on. Some little news and insight would probably help.
