I don´t know if anyone has mentioned this before but with the new hotfix 1.0.3 I always get a A/T disconnect on takeoff after pressing the TO/GA buttons (mapped on keypad). I can avoid that by not moving my physical thrust levers but I wanna do so for the feeling. So as soon as I move my physical thrust levers forward after pressing the TO/GA buttons the A/T disconnects. This didn´t happen with the previous versions of this aircraft. I also don´t move too far with my thrust levers (I can see that because the virtual ghost throttles are always advanced further than my acutal ones). EDIT: If I press N1 instead this doesn´t happen. Can you confirm that the command "autopilot/take_off_go_around" is the right one to be mapped?

I´d also like to fly with a partner. Never tried it before but I did my purchase yesterday. CEST time for me, available on the evenings and weekends. I fly both on Vatsim/IVAO and offline. I´m interested in all types of routes. My name is Julius. German, English and Spanish for me. Just contact me for further details . Kind regards, Julius

Is there anyone who knows where I can buy a Saitek throttle quadrant? I can´t find them anymore and I accidentally broke mine

I don't know the exact name of it right now but there is a gamma setting within the light settings of RTH (on the lower right hand side I think). If not set to 0 this might cause some issues from time to time.
-
Does this also happen if you set gamma effect to 0?

I use RWC as well. Forgot about that

I do get rain effects on the windscreen but only a few drops although I fly through heavy rain from time to time. I'd love to see the wipers do their job. I use SMP v3.1.2. and the NOAA plugin. Any ideas?

Well you didn't get what I meant. I was talking about the ground handling of the IXEG 733 and not anymore about the flare. I absolutely believe that the physics of the flightmodel are spot on and really don't want them to be changed. It's just that IXEG featured a more direct ground handling in the release version and told us that this would be as realistic as possible. Then people were complaining and so they changed it a bit "to adapt it to the people whereas it should be to them to learn how to handle it on the ground" (in your words). And therefore I asked kindly to get the more realistic ground handling back. Do you understand now what I mean?

I´m going to try this out right now (approaching ENBR)

I would really like to fly with you, Jan No kidding because this would be awesome

Thanks for the tip! Until what speeds do you recommend to use the autobrakes (what would you do in real life)?

Well, I was almost certain that this wasn´t a bug but superior IXEG/X-Plane physics that I wasn´t quite familiar with (I´ve flown other XP payware aircraft before ). So thanks for taking your time and explaining this. Sounds very convincing and therefore - as soon as you know what to expect upon flaring - I think landing the IXEG 733 will be way easier . But - because I see that you take these physics extremely serious - I really hope that we will be able to have these ground physics from v1.0.0 as an option in the future (I use a separate joystick as a tiller). The new physics seem to be less realistic - still way better than others in XP . It´s just that now upon landing you also slide a bit on the runway when applying rudder (you know what I mean?).

I´m not sure if anybody else has noted/posted this but I think I´m experiencing a weird flare behaviour. I mean by this that when I flare to about 5° nose up, I feel how the nose pulls back down a bit. This always makes the landings a bit hard. Is this a noted bug or some aerodynamic behaviour I don´t know of?

Skymaxx Pro - Will this be possible in new version coming?

Ok. Thx for your answer anyway. I only hope that the landing lights will illuminate the clouds in the near future -
Skymaxx Pro - Will this be possible in new version coming?
K4bel123 replied to Vantskruv's topic in General Discussion
Thx for this workaround! I didn´t know that there was something like new moon simulated in X-Plane 10. But is it really difficult to make a hotfix for people who aren´t happy with the white clouds? I mean you already have had the other version coded... -
Is the IXEG 733 too sensible in wind direction/speed changes ?
K4bel123 replied to cmbaviator's topic in General Discussion
That´s what I thought as well. And therefore I asked him if he uses FSGRW because IMHO FSGRW seems to have a way too rapid rate of wind direction change. -

K4bel123 replied to cmbaviator's topic in General Discussion
What weather engine do you use? EDIT: Might it be FSGRW? I don´t use this weather engine because of its extremely sudden changes of the wind direction which makes flying completely unrealistic. Look at your wind direction indicator (or whatever it might be called ) on the lower display unit. It shows some really strong wind (not unrealistic) but the direction seems to change extremely rapidly. This could really make your aircraft be pushed around in the air. -

I fully understand your approach to this, Cameron. I´m just sad that the majority wants these unrealistic white clouds. Would it be possible to inject a hotfix code (like with the IXEG 733) to change the cloud brightness? Otherwise I can´t fly with SMP at night anymore... I´d really appreciate your support on this @Cameron @sundog -

K4bel123 replied to Vantskruv's topic in General Discussion
I´m really sad that you changed the brightness of the clouds at night again. They were perfect with SMP 3.1 but aren´t anymore with the new patches. White clouds at night really kill the immersion for me so I have to turn SMP off at night. If you could just send me a fix for this this would be so great. Besides, I noticed that when flying the IXEG 737 with SMP 3.1.2 the landing lights don´t illuminate the clouds. Have you also noticed that @Cameron ? -

Sooo.. who tried a manual CAT I approach yet?
K4bel123 replied to Morten's topic in General Discussion
I haven't tried that yet because I fly with real weather and sadly until now the weather was too good . But I'm gonna try this out this weekend for sure if time permits. Undoubtedly your flightmodel and avionics are outstanding so I should have a good chance for not having to go-around -
hahaha I guess this is one of the easter eggs Tom was talking about prior to release How did you do that?

Aircraft sliding on the ground in light wind
K4bel123 replied to tri2322's topic in General Discussion
This issue happened to me once as well. Brakes didn´t seem to work either (tried using the autobrake on landing, manual brake and parking brake). This happened both in wet and dry conditions. It was either at CYYQ or CYPX if you want to replicate it (don´t quite remember) with some airport scenery from X-Plane.org. Runway follows terrain contours was set to on. -
It´s called something like blinding effect (in the IXEG preferences page) just uncheck it and you´re good

+1 for me. I wanted to make this myself but photoshop isn´t opening the paintkit properly
