Thanks Birdy, does it work for XP11 as well? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I thought it was too.....but why would it only engage above F210 in the first place? I still have the same hardware and the last 2 flights since 1.1 have been perfect. Anyway, hope it works....also, some people reported that the JAR Ground Handling plug in is still giving issues with the IXEG 1.1 so it is something to keep in mind.

Understood, but it was very much a wide issue....no matter what flight, what route. I never loaded a flight plan, always entered it manually. Always entered SID and STAR before departure. Always started Cold and Dark. No Disco items in FMC, no issues whatsoever. When the issue started, I was unable to engage VNAV until about 20,000ft....later flights i could not engage at all. Funnily enough, LNAV engaged without a problem, but VNAV refused....nothing in vertical navegation worked, Altitude Hold, Alt Select, Vertical Speed of FL CHG, not one of them worked....if I had autopilot on and flying on LNAV...if I pressed any of the vertical modes above, autopilot would disconnect. Very strange. I removed all plug ins, reintalled countless times....nothing worked. When I installed the new 1.1 on a brand new version of XP11, the very first flight I did had VNAV disconnect 3 times in flight, but the autopilot did not disconnect....I was able to re-engage VNAV and flight continued. I reinstalled the IXEG once again and have done 2 more flights repeating the original, and the issue has not happened again so fingers crossed I have it behind me.

I had this exact problem which forced me to remove the aircraft and not fly it for over 6 months. I did a fresh clean install of XP11 due to something unrelated and when i installed 1.1 the problen appears to have gone away. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Yes, you need the GNS430 folder in Resources....this folder contains the files needed by the specific GPS unit in the SAAB. If you still have XP10, install it there and then copy that folder across. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When that happens, it is known as a 707? [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't forget a lot of stuff in XP11 is still a beta so rendering by LR is likely to change. There were things that looked odd in XP10 and it was due to the way LR created the shading in XP10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! These are magical times as a new parent, enjoy! Your project looks terrific, I think I still have some of my old A306 and A313 documentation somewhere, look forward to one day flying your machine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can see some posts were hidden by a moderator due to inappropriate content, but if you got banned, you would have received an email from the moderator advising the reasons. People don't usually get an outright ban, you get a warning, then maybe revoke your ability to post anything for 48 hours, etc. To receive a ban you have to either have posted some extremely crude remarks and/or abused the moderator. My all time favourite jetliner! I am ready to pre purchase as soon as available! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Thanks Frank, I was playing around with the settings and found that the slider for cloud/terrain blend softness was all the way to the left...when I moved it to 500, the clouds appeared! Anyway, I have also moved SMP to dense particles and will leave it there...so far no major FPS hit which I hope is still the case when I test it with heavier payware aircraft. Many thanks for the assistance and support....hard to fly without your product! Cheers Will

Yes I have, but if the original poster has the same issue as me, and he is using XPlane's weather, and I am using FSGRW, then the issue is somewhere else, don't you think? Disabling FSGRW makes no difference in this case. I have reinstalled FSGRW and Skymaxx, no change. I don't use RTH, my system is as plain as they come.
-
Then if I re-enable Skymaxx. the Skymaxx clouds appear but not fully, and they go away as soon as weather refreshes and I am back to no clouds
-
Another thing I noticed...when the weather refreshes it goes back to no clouds....but if I disable Skymaxx in Plugins....I get default clouds:
-
I am seeing exactly the same as the original poster....the second photo is the vis you get when BKN clouds should be showing...see my log attached and also a photo. Log.txt

Did another 3 flights, Skymaxx is not working at all with the latest Beta, if you disable Skymaxx, the clouds appear, enable it and you get mild haze, no clouds whatsoever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can confirm I am seeing exactly the same thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup certainly did. Will try it again today, I set up the Nav radios and course before top of descent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a similar issue, first flight with the 1.07...was vectored to rwy 25L at EDDF....heading 280 until intercepting the ILS which meant a nice left hand turn to course 253. I armed the LOC and all was well...the needles were active...approaching the extended centerline the aircraft started a left hand turn to intercept the Localiser....but then it intercepted and continued the left turn...I thought it was just correcting itself but I had to disconnect the autopilot when instead of settling on a heading of 253 for the ILS of rwy 25L, it was on a heading of 180 and still on a left turn.

That would be the Cabin Altitude warning. It is probably set for an altitude lower than your present altitude. Once you start your flight, if pressurisation is on Auto, it will lower the cabin altitude to the setting you need, or you can set it Manual and do it yourself Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
