  1. I did extract some equations from the spreadsheet and simplified them at Wolfram Alpha. To get the X-Plane CG value (if this is still correct...): Kilos as ZFW: CG = ( (11.2754*LIZFW - 561.288) / (ZFW + 0.36) ) + 7.95301 LBS as ZFW: CG = ( (24.8579*LIZFW - 1237.43) / (ZFW + 0.793665) ) + 7.95301 where which ZFW is divided by 1000.
  2. May I ask, why have two projectors? Isn't the picture large enough with one projector?
  3. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! This means it will be released somewhere in february or march.
  4. Note for those who will be using TrackIR and X-Camera: Disable TrackIR in X-Plane, as X-Camera will handle the TrackIR itself. The positives of this is: * If you forget to start up the TrackIR software before starting X-Plane, you do not need to restart X-Plane. Just do ALT-TAB, start TrackIR software, and then disable and enable X-Camera plugin in the X-Camera menu in X-Plane. * You may disable or enable TrackIR in different views and profiles. X-Camera also supports the plugin Headshake, which makes your head wobble a little in turbulence. This may also be disabled in selected views in the X-Camera control panel. Edit: When you have tried out TrackIR, you will never go back, I promise!
  5. Merry Christmas, and do not stress anything. Please be calm. No worries here.
  6. Simbrief is also not supported.
  7. Concentrate on the most important features, which in my case is the cockpit functionality and atmosphere. Then, if resources exist, it is a bonus with exterior fidelity as wingflex, aircraft services, cabin and interactive doors, though no requirement. I confess I get satisfaction while watching a replay sitting in the cabin while experience a turbulent landing, but I prefer if main resources are concentrated as I wrote above, and resource excess may be added for less important features as discussed above.
  8. Litjan, actually for me it is the reverse. I have never used the X-Plane camera/view system, as I thought there was a reason X-Camera existed. Main reason I'm using X-Camera is its ease of use. Anyway, concentrate now on releasing your badass thing. I don't have time to wait!
  9. If I'm using X-Camera and have it activated, will I miss implemented features for this aircraft? Is it okay to run X-Camera with this aircraft?
  10. Why did you not set the vibes so folk believed the release would be in the end of 2016, and then just release 1 year earlier? I cannot stand the urge to press F5 1440 times per day on your website, waiting for a shortcoming release. Anyway, can't you postpone your release in about 2-3 years to really make it teensy-weensy close to the realistic machine?
  11. So, do we have in cockpit sound-effects for turbulence?
  12. Actually, there is a plugin for X-Plane which is called X-Camera. This tool does everything, and with more. https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/x-camera/ So I don't think it is necessary to have predefined views (with the exception if X-Camera later on breaks with new versions of X-plane, though highly unlikely).
  13. CPU: Intel DX2-66Mhz Motherboard: Intel CLASSIC/PCI LPX RAM: 16MB GPU: Cirrus Logic 5440 with 1MB VRAM Monitor: Salora High Radiation 14 inches HD: Conner 512MB HDD
  14. No problems, I think you are doing a great job with everything. I think it is just cool looking at the sidewindow seeing the wingtips vibrate, it adds something to the immersion. But the most important things is to get a good flightmodel and a functional and immersive cockpit. I really hope that the cockpit is clear and easy too look in. A bad example is the Flightfactor 757 cockpit, where everything is so hard to read, especially the CDU-panel and the altimeter. PS. I'm looking forward for the realistic CIVA implementation. .DS
  15. Actually, I've found two videos closely representing the turbulence I experienced:
  16. Actually, I was flying home in a 737-800 and the airplane was landing in a wind of 24 knots and quite much turbulence at the ride down to the runway. I was sitting behind the wings, and watched the wingtips vibrating violently. It was a very nasty experience, and I have not imagined how violently wingtips may vibrate in turbulence. I have big regrets I did not tape it.
  17. Thanks for replying, I was not sure if there existed a version with Civa installed. Oh well, I may anyway try the FMS out.
  18. Ok, I know you will say to me to instead fly the FlyJSim 732, but I think the fidelity and detail of this aircraft is so nice, and you probaly will get a better simulation of the aircraft. So is it possible just to remove the FMS panels as an option and add a Civa panel for those who wants to fly with the XCiva plugin? I'm not sure how realistic this is, but I prefer to fly without FMS, as I like a more handson navigation experience when flying, and using Civa is more a help if you have to navigate to some fixes if there is no better way to navigate, especially for long runs. So is this possible in realisitc terms, what do others think. Is flying with FMS to much automatic and boring?
  19. Just install the CIVA and release the airplane. I have not doped with FMS type systems yet, and the prejudice is that it would be like holding anothers hand. Hm, actually when it comes to my mind, scrap the CIVA too, I just want to fly VOR/VOR.
