  1. Hi, Piet, You should not need to re-install anything on Windows to run products as they are. Keep in mind, however, this may impact your uninstallers located in X-Plane/X-Aviation. These are crucial for upgrades being run properly.
  2. Magic, of course.
  3. Hello, Captains!, Today I would like to go over what you can expect in version 1.1 of SkyMaxx Pro. We anticipate this to be released within the next 24 hours, so keep an eye here or on your email inboxes! We have really appreciated all of the constructive feedback from our users, as well as the endless amount of compliments streaming in via our e-mail channels. All of you guys are awesome for being passionate enough to want to help us improve this product further! With the above said, here's what we have coming to you in version 1.1: 1. Huge performance increases across the board! This includes both HDR and Non-HDR modes, with usual scenarios seeing near double frame rates in HDR mode on our local machines. 2. HDR mode fixes for tone map coloring. Clouds will now essentially look the same between HDR and Non-HDR! 3. Orbit textures are back 4. New dawn and dusk transitions. This means that the black clouds are no more, which we know many of you disliked. We've listened. 5. The high setting on overcast has now been altered. We now employ volumetric metaballs for a better appearance. 6. Visibility issues have been solved. People were unable to properly adjust visibility in some scenarios, and we've put this bug to death. We really look forward to getting this update out to you. It solves many of your requests and concerns, so I think most of you will be very pleased. Thanks again for your help in helping us to bring you a better product!
  4. All of this looks normal. You'll need to be more descriptive as to when/how/where the crash occurs.
  5. We take all criticism and feedback seriously. I think you'll be very pleased with what's coming.
  6. Chuck, Something really seems amiss with your install. Things like Airspeed definitely work.... Can you post a log file for us?
  7. Service ceiling vs. step climbing...you will not find these aircraft ever flying at these altitudes.
  8. The service ceiling for this aircraft is 25,000ft.
  9. Already been addressed. See my thread in the SkyMaxx screenshot forum.
  10. Enjoy. Love all the possibilities! Version 1.1 coming soon.
  11. Use the flashlight feature provided by X-Plane itself.
  12. I think you have a pretty reasonable chance of getting close to that, yes.
  13. Thanks for the info. We'll investigate this today!
  14. Let's start with the basics... Please remove all plugins from the plugins folder except for Gizmo64.plugin and SilverLining. What happens now?
  15. Are you having this problem with both variants?
  16. All this log shows is that you opened Plane Maker...
  17. First off, the Sabach software uses intellectual property ripped off from the developers of REX for MSFS. Anyways, Sabach's add-on alters shaders within X-Plane. If you have this, you will need to fully uninstall this add-on, or re-install X-Plane fresh before using SkyMaxx Pro.
  18. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.3 update for the Douglas DC-3. All customers who have purchased the Douglas DC-3 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Douglas DC-3 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.3 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Douglas DC-3 purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Douglas DC-3". There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: Quick reminders: X-Plane 10 compatible only64-bit compatible onlyOn the surface changes: Fixed compass directionOil pressure changesUnder the hood changes: Optimizes code and brings compatibility fixes to core pluginAs always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  19. Is this on a second machine? I recall you saying you have 32-bit only. The uninstaller is nothing magical. It literally touches only new files, and never any X-Plane related files. This is the first time I've heard of anything even remotely close to this, so I'm baffled. I've just run install and uninstall at least 15 times now without issue. Go into your resources/plugins folder and remove SilverLining and Gizmo64.plugin. Best guess would be that since your uninstaller quit halfway through, some files did get deleted and X-Plane is hanging trying to find such files.
  20. This happens based on when X-Plane decides to load new weather for a closer METAR location. The pause has ALWAYS been there in X-Plane, though it can be a bit more noticable with SkyMaxx Pro dependent on system because in SkyMaxx Pro no two clouds look alike, so X-Plane has to re-render the scene. In default X-Plane weather, the clouds are almost always, if not always, the same/alike, thus the load time to render that scene is much less time to calculate. We are going to look into this some, but I'm honestly unsure if we'll be able to work around it. This is just a limitation of X-Plane for the moment.
  21. It's always been there, you just didn't realize it. This is CRJ related, not SkyMaxx. See further explanation here.
  22. We have identified the issue and will be reporting how to work around this for users until there is a patch out. It will be a simple work around in the meantime.

    Overcast

Thanks for trying, Mat. Not sure what else to say here. We have an overwhelming amount of compliments coming in through emails and various forums, and we're trying our best to say thanks to these people who have been kind enough to take the time and write in. Hopefully in time we can satisfy you. I guess now is just not that time. Cheers!
  24. Gizmo64 is a part of the SkyMaxx install and is required to work.
