  1. My bets are this had nothing to do with PMDG and more to do with the collective community "bitching" in Laminar's ear. There were a number of people who were very persistent about this with Austin and finally got his attention. Austin tends to treat everyone relatively fairly. PMDG is no different to him than me or even you. And I know that first hand.

    OOM-Not new?

Martin, 2GB is RIGHT on the cuff for XP10 and anything "nice" to look at. Given your rather custom setup (scenery, plug-ins, higher end aircraft), I think you're pushing your setup pretty hard. This is not a common issue. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I heard of some kind of an OOM issue. Wish we could help more, but I think you're going to need to tinker more on your end. Try a fresh demo install of X-Plane, or a full "vanilla" one with the Saab and see how you go there.
  3. I receive email notifications.
  4. We don't give estimations for good reason. Sorry.

    PMDG Announces First X-Plane Project

PMDG has officially announced the Douglas DC-6 as their entry product into the X-Plane simulation world. Robert Randazzo of PMDG states: "The PMDG Classics DC-6B is the lead off product in a new breed of products for PMDG that will bring some "old school" aviation to our product lines for Xplane, FSX and Prepar3D. This product will drop for XPlane first- but shortly after will release for FSX and Prepar3D as well- making it the first PMDG product to appear on three different simulation platforms." A topic of discussion can be found here at X-Pilot. The original posting from PMDG may be found on their Facebook page.
  6. Hidden sets are not likely to happen. I'm simply answering your questions and providing alternatives assuming you aren't using them now. Bear in mind opinions are different across the board. That's the way of life, as I'm sure you know.
  7. No. There's discussion on this forum about it if the answer bothers you so you can learn more as to why. But there's good reason for it and not us just being lazy. Preference does not make something unstable or non-flyable. Options exist for this product that are better than what you're evidently doing now. Why not use them?
  8. I firmly disagree on this one. And, we don't have much interest in moving from drag vs toggle. Sorry to say. It can't be. There's a reason this isn't done already. This aircraft does NOT use X-Plane's standard engine model for everything like you may think. There's a lot that went into this product for realism purposes. Or you could just map them to a couple of key strokes? Or joystick buttons for that matter! Nothing stopping you from doing this now.
  9. It's one of my favorite aircraft too. Truth be told, I don't think we'll see much of ANYTHING from Tom until after his obligations on the IXEG 737 are completed.
  10. There will be more info soon
  11. The team at PMDG do great work and are the undisputed top dog for heavy airliners. For the short term anyhow. That said, their entrance into the X-Plane market will be a welcome one.
  12. Ya. Not much going on for sure.
  13. Actually, an issue with your video card and the drivers for them. A 17 inch laptop is a few years old configuration wise. I believe this had already been explained to you. I love Apple products, but they aren't always the greatest with keeping drivers up to date...especially on old ATI cards.
  14. Looks great, Colin
  15. You already have open support tickets. A lot of them. Please be patient.
  16. Kyle, Sure, that's no problem at all. Send a message off to X-Aviation and someone will be sure to set that up for you.
  17. Kyle, Truth be told no support is offered on this anymore for XP 9. X-Plane 10 is now years out the door since X-Plane 10, and we gave all customers a free upgrade to that version. Reach back out to us when you have XP 10 in use.
  18. Is any posted?
  19. Your plugin menu screenshot shows the right version number. That's all that matters.
  20. By the looks of your pictures you didn't install this right. The SkyMaxx Pro 2.1.1 folder is probably your installer folder. You need to get that OUT of that folder and back to somewhere like your desktop. Run the 2.1.1 installer again.
  21. You can try doing what jboyd did on his Sundowner here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/7033-c23-sundowner-problems/?p=83270
  22. Or you could contact the venue you purchased it from since I'm sure they'll have detailed instructions.
  23. Probably best you contact the venue where you purchased it from.
  24. Driver has nothing to do with it!
