  1. Colin, You'll need to download water data (like TIGER) to produce water in MeshTool. It will need to be a part of your config file. If I remember right you'll want to use SHAPEFILE_MASK for this portion of your config.
  2. You'd need to edit the taxi lines in WED.
  3. You need to install VS 2012 redistributable libs update 4 from Microsoft.
  4. http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/8301-skymaxx-pro-version-30-announcement/?p=88237
  5. Yes. When you install from the DVDs it will show you what's already installed before adding more.
  6. You must be a version 1 or 2 buyer to qualify. You purchased version 2, so you will get a 50% discount.
  7. Have just looked in the database. You did not submit more than a day ago. You submitted ALL THREE tickets yesterday. We answer all tickets in the order received. Responses range from 24-72 hours depending on how busy things are.
  8. That may well be, but let it be clear that FSG cannot change how actual clouds like SMP get placed. It's a bit more complicated than that. In short, when it comes to FSG and SkyMaxx Pro, a METAR is a METAR is a METAR (meaning the placement, or how clouds are placed, between default weather engine and FSG will not be much of any different).
  9. File a support ticket. If you have already done so, simply wait for a reply. You may do so by using the contact form on X-Aviation or e-mailing support@x-aviation.com
  10. Nope. By law we cannot if you do so. That said, I just looked and you're still subscribed and receiving messages. I'd encourage you to look in the promotional section or spam box in your GMail.
  11. No sir. Just initially.
  12. It will be a special SKU in the store with a custom v2 to v3 upgrade path. In other words, you MUST have v2 purchased, and you MUST have v2 installed to get v3 installed at the discount option. You'll receive instructions on all of this in your e-mail upon release. Much appreciated from all!
  13. Thank you! We definitely appreciate the enthusiasm! It's one of my favorite features now. I can't put a number on days. I can say I would expect this in less than 3 weeks (and that's being very conservative so as not to displease expectations).
  14. You're showing an image taken with ZERO clouds above the layer in question. The screenshot posted shows a layer of clouds ABOVE the layer in question, thus darker areas are a direct result of cloud shadows. Look further into the distance and note the areas with no upper layer and see much brighter clouds. It looks pretty stinkin' close, and LEAPS above anything available in X-Plane today. Nitpick all you want, but yesterday this much closer to reality was not even on the table. I also feel the video clearly shows that lighting conditions are an integral part of this product (and rightly so!). I am happy to announce now that we are in the process of working out an implementation deal with Flight Safety. Apparently the big boy FAA certified sims like what we're doing. Hopefully you will too!
  15. Thanks, Liser! Glad you like what you see, and another shout out to Dave for the awesome video!
  16. Thank YOU! Also a great time to shout out to Frank (Sundog) for his hard work and involvement here!
  17. To do it properly you'll need to install three times. Even though you'll activate three times it will only count as one if it's on the same machine.
  18. No sir. Maybe wishful thinking. At this time no such thing is happening. We continue to investigate better solutions, and for now FSG is not the answer.
  19. No worries, mate. It's not for everyone and you very well may fall in that boat given your history of interaction here! Enjoy what you like and let it be. Sounds like you're digging those default clouds! As previously stated there will be no demo version offered. Sorry, I don't have any time to create such a video as you've requested. Maybe someday, just not now.
  20. Thank you for the kind comments!
  21. Hey, no one is forcing you to upgrade now. 60 days is more than ample time for reviews to tell you if a product is poo. You can certainly do it at a later time for $39.95 (we'd certainly like that better!). If it were really that easy I'm sure we'd have one by now. It's all about business economics and keeping the progression of development in check. I think our track period speaks for itself when it comes to following through, so assume what you will!
  22. Very soon we hope! We are genuinely working as fast as possible towards a smooth release. I personally have had no issues using RTH in my tests. That said I know the question was asked previously about mie scattering in RTH. I'll have to get back to you on that since I usually don't use it. Appreciate the comments!
  23. Thank you for the positive encouragement, sir!
  24. Hi there, As the main post states it is not yet released. You will receive info on how to get the upgrade once it's out!
  25. No problem sir, and happy flights!
