  1. I think you have answered your own question through a rather pessimistic view, Jeff. Perhaps the default clouds are more for you. But on a more serious note, SkyMaxx Pro and the SilverLining SDK are built to a spec for many high profile clients to strict standards. These clouds meet the very strict training requirements of organizations like the US Air Force, US Navy, NASA, Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, etc., all of whom are our direct customers along with hundreds more. There will always, without doubt, be some customers disappointed in a product or solution, and for every one, there will be hundreds to a thousand of others happy as can be and silent...and trust me, there's a massive number of SkyMaxx Pro customers out there. In the end, I'm sure you will very quickly find YouTube videos showing whatever it is you're requesting. I'm going to be very clear here and now: This topic is not to turn into any kind of debate or slugfest. There's enough of that drama to go around elsewhere in the community, and subsequent attempts to throw an announcement post off topic will be immediately removed.
  2. Captains, The time has finally come for SkyMaxx Pro v4 to be installed on your computers! At midnight (Sunday, December 18th, 2016), SkyMaxx Pro v4 will be released. You may find out more on the product page. If you are a current SkyMaxx Pro v3 customer you are entitled to a 50% discount on SkyMaxx Pro v4! Personal discount codes will be distributed via your e-mail on file with X-Aviation within the next 24 hours. If you are a current Real Weather Connector user you will be receiving a FREE upgrade to the new Real Weather Connector plugin for use with SkyMaxx Pro v4. This will also retain backwards compatibility with SkyMaxx Pro v3, so you may install it prior to receiving v4. As per usual with our release announcements, a video clip by the very talented and amazing @redpiper is in order! Enjoy the preview, and we'll see you tomorrow night!
  3. You evidently did not understand a word I said, because if you did, you wouldn't have asked what you just did. And, when I said "create a payware addon" that was to mean RWC.
  4. Because the things you are talking about are accomplished via channels Laminar Research has been clear about not being supported and eventually subject to change. We are not going to create a payware addon that makes promises and may break at the drop of an update to X-Plane because Laminar finally followed through with their open ended promise. The never change feature in RWC prevents new weather downloaded in your METAR file from leading if it has changed suddenly in the area you are visibly flying.
  5. It will most definitely be released when it's ready!
  6. I'm very confused by the install path listed there. Why is it installed in 'Extra Aircraft'?
  7. None of the issues you described are issues in a properly installed and working product. You've got something wrong on your end there.
  8. See the documentation folder for the product.
  9. Hi Antonioe, This error is caused by large text pushing other info off of the installer screen. To fix this, please set your text size back down to 100% during install. You may learn to do this here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller
  10. Patience, sir. As has been said many a time...it's coming.
  11. Licenses are not handled in the forums. You may seek such support through the support ticket system.
  12. This error is caused by large text pushing other info off of the installer screen. To fix this, please set your text size back down to 100% during install. You may learn to do this here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller
  13. That's an issue related to Sierra where it will improperly apply permissions to files during unzip with the default OS X unzip utility. You'll need to use something like Stuffit Expander.
  14. Why bother even saying this? Some of the nitpickery I've seen in this community over the last couple of weeks for such minor or simple things as even words is exhausting and over dramatic. I don't mean to only single you out, but it's becoming borderline ridiculous as a whole.
  15. It's not impossible, but I also can't make a promise. As of now we have issued our first Release Candidate to our testers.
  16. Like Frank above, I have never seen or had this happen to me before, even in v3.
  17. Yes! All links will be reset once the release goes out. Thanks for the purchase, by the way!
  18. It's not happening so quick, Jose. New installers must be coded and logic added to determine X-Plane versions. My posting of giving you an update here was not your invitation to pester. Keep in mind the original store had it for a few days without people being aware the release was coming out. We've had it for 2 days, and I hope you'll extend the same respect (one of which was on a Sunday).
  19. This should have been answered already, and I'm out of office at this moment, but give me a bit and I'll investigate for you.
  20. It's only been one day, Jeff. Give it a few.
  21. The recommended one is here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stuffit-expander/id405580712?mt=12
  22. It's primarily up to the aircraft developers to do this effect, actually. Just how the X-Plane model works.
  23. Sending multiple requests delays the response to you. Sounds to be the issue here. Hang tight, please.
