I agree about the wingflex. It should be a great addition. When flying through turbulent weather, some little wingflex (whether the classic wing is stiff or not) is always great to see. It provides some additional realism feeling. But if it is hard to implement a good realistic simulation for the wingflex, we have to take that into account and wait for it a little bit longer
Temporary fix for the APU applied and I can get rid of the Gizmo menu. Next issue: X-Plane crashes after a while. No specific reason in the log.
- However, it is the 2nd time X-Plane 11 crashes since I changed the altimeters settings
Hello Jan,
Thank you for sharing this information and gorgeous preview. Are there plans to apply these materials properties also inside the cockpit, instead of only exteriour?
Only thing I do not understand: why is the IXEG standby horizontal indicator not a sphere but just like a flat plate or something? Are there more types of these instruments?
@tkyler respect for your programming skills. I got this week my first Python programming courses with assignment to construct the International Standard Atmosphere with some simple equations for Troposphere and Stratosphere. Already hard enough for me lol..
I admit, since that last video I check this forum on a 'I'm addicted' basis e.g. first thing you do when you wake up: check IXEG forum, and last thing you do before you go to sleep: check IXEG forum, when going to toilet: bring mobile with you and check IXEG forum.
Don't ask me why, but I seriously think it's gonna be in our hands literally in a few days. I mean, if Jan says 'days' then I seriously think he means literally days. Oke, maybe a few more days than a single week. But not months.
In the mean time IXEG is laughing out loud to us while reading our comments
Morten, at the IXEG website we can see some pictures of the nose wheel which are extraordinary well designed with lots of details. But I´m also curious about how the actuators, wirings and other stuff beyond the spoilers (when spoilers are deployed) are designed. Same for the wheel well. Just a picture and placed in the wheel well to fill, or is it actually designed with 3D items? Possible to provide a picture of these two items?
