  1. Figured it out. Moved X-Plane to the internal drive and the 733 works. So for whatever reason, it didn't like being installed on my T7 Touch( yet previous version of the 733 worked just fine). But now to figure out why the symbolic link I have to my custom scenery folder doesn't work, but that's obviously another issue outside of the 733.
  2. Errors still occurring there with 30 GB of RAM free and ~4 GB of VRAM used out of 8 GB. As a curiosity, even though the sound files are present in the folder, the sounds do not play.
  3. Still getting the same messages and FMS issue with it removed.
  4. The sound files that it says are missing are present in the folder.
  5. No luck. Attached are the logs again without any of the plugins installed. GizmoLog.txt Log.txt
  6. I got around to updating the 733 and upon installation and loading, getting error messages such as unable to load some sound files, etc. Input KPHX into the FMS and get not in database error( despite latest AIRAC installed and FMS shows it is loaded). I have uninstalled the 733, the TBM900, and any traces of Gizmo, etc and reinstalled using both stable and beta versions of Gizmo with no luck. Attached are the Gizmo and log.txt files. T7 Touch:X-Plane 11:GizmoLog.txt Log.txt
  7. Is there fuel in the center tanks?
  8. ILS does not mean the plane has autoland capability. The only thing the ILS gives you is lateral and vertical guidance. Or else the 172 Skyhawk has autoland capability because it can do ILS approaches too....
  9. I know. Wasn't directly speaking to you or anyone else. It's just one of those things I see on here and other forums and I am perplexed by it. Back when Rotate said their MD-88 would lack TCAS at 1.0, people said that was a deal breaker. That confuses me. I fly on PilotEdge and I do take it seriously. But I do remember it is a sim and if I make a mistake( ATC procedure wise, plane hitting me, etc) I take it, learn from it, and move on. The 733 lacking TCAS for 1.0 is not that big of a deal( to me at least). There are a lot more important features the plane needs to have for release than TCAS. I just find people tend to overvalue TCAS.
  10. Is TCAS a neat feature? Sure as is ADS-B. But not every plane has a transponder and therefore will not show up on TCAS/ADS-B. Since you guys are wanting to be reliant on these forms of technology, you will end up having a mid-air due to your lack of scanning. You may claim that you indeed scan, but since in the back of your head you know you have TCAS waiting to save you, it is not adequate This is a real world problem as well. Pilots become so reliant on the technology/automation, their stick and rudder skills aka basic piloting ability are lacking. Countless times I have been flying in real life and noticed planes that were not on my MFD. I am a huge proponent of ADS-B, but it doesn't replace your eyes and scan. And in a sim, having a mid-air has no consequences. Let them fly right through you and move on. TCAS as of now is a feature creep, not a necessary feature that the plane has to have for 1.0.
  11. They sold it to Lockheed Martin so now we have to spend $200 for Prepar3d if we want to fly the 733 in v4.
  12. As much as I want the 733 to come out soon because I will be moving onto the next stage of my career shortly and I'll be away from my X-Plane machine for 2-4 months when I am out training( and I would love to have some seat time in the 733 before I head out to train), they need to wait until the product is in a state where it is ready. X-Plane has had too many products be released too soon( as much as I hate to say it because I do enjoy the Mad Dog, the MD-88 should have had a few more minutes in the oven). Too many beta testers just take the plane, put a plan in the FMC and see if it flies it, then says it's good to go. As many of us who fly in the real world or online( PE, vatsim, IVAO), how many times did the originally programmed flight plan actually be the final one without any direct to's, short cuts, etc given by ATC? Planes like the Mad Dog and the JAR's can't do direct to's without drama. You can't change the flight plan in mid-flight or things get screwed up( VNAV, lose LNAV, etc). From what I have seen, IXEG is focusing on the most important aspects of the plane for a 1.0 release. I don't bring the Mad Dog or any of the JAR's on PilotEdge because I just don't have trust with them. I enjoy the Mad Dog and the JAR's don't get me wrong, but in an environment where the flight plan can change and need a SID/STAR flown correctly, the deficiencies of these planes FMC/systems prevent me from holding too much faith that these planes will do what they should do. X-Plane needs less eye candy planes. X-Plane needs more study-level in depth models.
  13. It's a bit hard to make out due to the camera angle, but you can see the single-cue FD here. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uvhC02jD6Fc/maxresdefault.jpg
  14. You hit one button at a time on a real FMC. Clicking on the key with the mouse is far more realistic than typing it all with a QWERTY keyboard. I am not saying don't include keyboard support for those who want it, but it's not realistic. The mouse mimicking your finger is. Providing keyboard support is a convenience feature for those who don't want to get that deep with the simulation. It is not a realism feature. The only thing a QWERTY keyboard and a FMC shares in common is they have keys. That's it.
  15. Given the mouse click mimics your finger pushing on the keys of the FMC, it is actually fairly close to reality. You don't type on a FMC's keypad like you do on a QWERTY keyboard.
  16. Curious, what FMS functions will not be in the initial release?
  17. It would be great to make it work with navigraph as well. All of my add ons for X-Plane are compatible with navigraph. Would certainly cause a bit of pause for me at least to buy the 733 because I am not sure about having to buy another service that I already have my needs met just to have updated nav data for one plane. Is it a deal breaker? Don't know yet, but it would suck to have to spend more money on a redundant service just to be able to keep things up to date on the 733.
  18. Will navigraph's service also allowed to be used for us to update the AIRAC?
  19. Secret government flight....
  20. Departing KMCO, cruising at FL320, and landing into KDCA.
  21. There are a few Canadian airlines still operating the 732. Like Air Inuit, Canadian North, First Air, etc. And true reading that comment literally is untrue, but I still believe he meant the 732.
  22. Atomic, I think he was talking about WestJet doesn't have a 732 in their fleet anymore.
  23. That is very odd. The 732 should perform very well on that system. I have a 27" iMac with the 4670 and 780M and I get about 30-34 FPS with the 732 which is about the same as I get with the 727 and FF 757.
