I think we we're told we'd have some tutorial videos 4-5 weeks before the release. That hasn't happened, so if the plan hasn't changed we probably have some waiting still ahead. But, I've taken a healthy break from our beloved sim for the time being, so the release will be even sweeter! Who knows, we might even get the Real Weather Connector and SMP 3.1 at some point. Good times ahead!

I did indeed have a simple view in mind, just to improve situational awareness. If there was a lite version until the real thing is implemented, most people would probably be happy with it, possibly never knowing the difference.

TCAS, even though rarely used IRL, is quite handy when flying on VATSIM, especially in uncontrolled airspaces. Same goes for hold function and even offset, which is a cool little trick to use when flying online with friends. Even though rarely used, in a flight sim they can be really handy! Just pitching in so you see what is important to the customers If I had a say, I'd have these functions before any of the other items!

But read other threads, we are quite in the loop. We know that they are working hard on VNAV. Let them sort the basics out, this addon is gonna serve us for years to come!

Set new alt into the MCP, then FMC? I'm not sure if the aircraft will start to climb or if it needs to be nudged via FLCH or V/S. Or if its done any other way for that matter.

That is amazing indeed. Are there any other effects yet unknown to us? For example, are the poor almost non existent XP default contrails used? Not a biggie if so, but seeing as you have created these neat little touches made me curious.

Any chance there will ever be an Estonian Air livery? Even though it is a historic one by now, it is in my humble opinion one of the prettiest.

But you are comparing a mobile version to a desktop one. So probably the cards are quite similar in performance.

PFPX lets you export a myriad of different formats for different addons, I couldn't find one in .fpl but I know that many addons use Aerosoft Airbuses .flp and I could export XP's .fms All of the other addons seem to use different kinds of formats. A question - those of us using PFPX or similar sorts, as I understand we will be able to save the routes in notepad as necessary? Of course it would be neat to be able to use their save rte function at some point in the future, but I guess thoughts about such things are a bit of a way off? Very impressive work indeed, may the force be with you.

I too am a Navigraph subscriber as it comes in a neat package with charts. It will be a bit of a pain having to get another subscription and while Aerosoft is cheaper, it does not appear to have charts. Anyone know of any cheaper alternatives for charts? As far as I know there is no option to get them separately from Navigraph..

It does indeed look quite effortless - I think a lot of people are a bit wary because we've seen some pretty bad manipulators in XP before, nothing worse than trying to tune a twitchy fiddly radio in a hurry! On this one it does look quite firm and almost satisfying : ) Loving the quick responses, you've excited a lot of people even further today. No doubt it will be a day one purchase here.

Hello! Finally got the Saab a few weeks ago and enjoying it immensely! Probably been flying the bird a bit too much ! The only thing I found myself wondering is if there is a way to remove the skid sound tires make when you take too steep of a turn? Its fine when taxiing and even keeps you from making unrealistic fast turns. But when landing its almost impossible to avoid. I didn't find any sound files for this particular effect. Any insights greatly appreciated!
