  1. Hello all! I've been wondering if anyone here will make a nice looking 777, FlightFactor's rendition was comprehensive in the systems, but not so much in visual accuracy. This is my first legitimate aircraft project, It will have a few short comings in terms of detail (but my aim here is to attain the highest level of modelling accuracy), I used Hiroshi Igami's 777 (from POSKY, they're now TDS) as a base, then redid the engines, wings etc and remapped and retextured any model thats used. UPDATE: I scrapped most of the modelled redid the aircraft, starting with the most popular choice at the moment: 777-300ER, check latest post for latest images! One thing about 777s that I like is the wing flex, and FF unfortunately didn't simulate that very well. My wing model is sliced into 7 sections to ensure a smooth and almost-seamless flex. The landing gear also is sized correctly (hehe) and isn't a 200ER landing gear (theres no wiring and no cantilever system in the front). Yes it's going to be freeware, it's a learning project for me, a project launched after being dissatisfied of FF's 777, and also learning to animate. Without further ado, here are lé screenshots for you to feast on. Many thanks to: Jeffrey Chen: for his help advising about animation Goran Matovina: for advising me about the fan blade animations (stuck on it for days) Hiroshi Igami: for his model, and continuous assistance and support in this project ____ Possibly released under Aerobridge Studios.

  2. Changing sky colors can have an effect. Using Maxx FX can also help. There are no options for you to do this on your own. That said, we have a little something to alter colors a tad in the next update.

  3. Greetings all, new guy here. This product is outstanding. I was wondering if there are any planned updates dor the engine performance model? For example, I have tried to hot start the engine intentionally by spooling on low duct pressure (below the AFM limitations) and I observe normal ignition. Normal ignition also occurs when spooling with a fuel lever out of cutoff before engaging the starter solenoid. Also, wondering if exceeding max tailwind component effects would be implemented for engine start. Understandable if the developers opt to exclude certain things that might cause headaches for novices, but it would make for an interesting demonstration tool.

  5. Different settings. You can easily get up to 60/70 fps depending on the combinations of settings you use. Its all on what looks good enough to you. That being said, while the 1080 doesn't necessarily make a huge, gigantic, enormous fps jump, it does add 10 or 15 fps extra, and allows you to turn a lot of previously untenable settings on while doing so. In this second video I change a few settings, and the fps jumps. Change a few more and I am at 50fps. Turn off HDR and I am at 70fps, etc........ Very happy with the card, so far.

  7. Have been away since 2013 but have managed to find all my source data for Saab340 and other X-Plane Aircraft. Have also moved on to Adobe Illustrator CC from CorelDraw. Attached a recent quick livery just to find out where all the parts go - I know Lufthansa never flew Saab 340's but I am just re-finding my feet painting Liveries. I will update my 2013 Aer Lingus downloads first then start on some new/asked for Liveries here. Leen - I found your paintkit - I hope you don't mind me using it again. Allan
