  1. Hey Cessna, I have since gone back to default settings. After lots of practice and research I am finding this A/C to be a challenge = lots of fun. :-) I suppose having only used FSX for so long I was having an adjustment period. This was my first payware for X Plane and I'm glad I have it. After 10 hrs its like Japo32 said in another post: "Its no big Deal." I just wanted to put this out there as I don't want my last post to sound like a compromise was necessary. Definitely not. In fact to do so detracts from the whole point of this A/C. Steve

  2. I think that's six accounts now....... told you he wouldn't reach double figures with his posts. Meanwhile, I still haven't gotten round to flying this damn thing yet. But at least we do now have a less fluorescent panel....

  4. You should use "LIGHT_PARAM full_custom_halo_night" instead. You can customise the colour, shape and direction of the light beam exactly like with LIGHT_SPILL_CUSTOM. Use LIGHT_PARAM full_custom_halo for lights that are on all the time. It does not check for a dataref so it will also be a bit faster. LIGHT_PARAM full_custom_halo X Y Z A S Dx Dy Dz W X,Y, Z Position relative to the center of the object A Master dimer or brightness S Size Dx, Dy, Dz Direction in which the light shines W Width (Cos(angle), I am not sure if you can use 1 for omnidirectional lights)

  9. First flight in xplane in ages. Modified the cockpit colours of the good old AN148. Always had to wear sunglasses to cope with the bright blue panels.....

  10. Well I'd still choose a 3D panel over a 2D one, but when I don't feel like panning around the cockpit mid flight, I'm fine with just a 2D one. (as long as it's quality) I know what you mean though. A simple plane-maker panel can often take away from the overall flying experience.
