I knew something smelt "fake" about this guy named "Stent" and his writing style. He used to famously go by the name of "Fake Austin" as so many of you will remember. Cross referencing his information here with the old username he had produces a 100% match (same IPs). As FakeAustin was previously banned here, so too is Stent as of this moment. Furthermore, there is a strong resemblance in writing to past forum member Wetted Area, whom was banned here as well after going rather "nuts" on numerous individuals. As if that that's not coincidental enough, Wetted Area and FakeAustin/Stent have IP locations within miles of one another. Perhaps a work vs home situation, with FakeAustin and Stent being utilized at home. In any case, Stent is now banned.

Yes. And as this is about plugin development, in other words programming, I thought that someone might end up here while looking for what recursion is all about. Given the fact that your comment : "It really is an area of programming where the programmer must tread carefully." was totally appropriate I decided to add some facts to help understand why it is not a good thing to do. In short : Nice and fun in academic discussions, too risky in real life. PhM

Not for most anymore. Many of the aircraft vendors have worked with LR/Ben on this over the past 6 months, and they've got the lighting issues mainly covered these days. They would be in the minority if there is. However, In terms of rendering speeds: 4x SSAA + FXAA is actually now FASTER than non-HDR Mode. i.e. I get consistently better FPS++ in HDR mode vs Non-HDR. Ben's been doing some fantastic optimizations in this area. I'm now using HDR mode exclusively. - CK.

My Old Workstation area... still have to take a new one w/the updated hardware =) The PC is gone, and I now have 2 x 24" Monitors and a 21.5", a MacBook Pro and a Mini. The flute is the wife's... not mine =P - CK.
