I suspect that in the end and as a developer himself, Mr. Chang is writing checks his mouth can't cash.4 points

the background image-doesn't fit well as well, the back section is too thin compared to the background image. the engines are a little behind, and the nose contour is also a little too thin..... i also heard that those three view diagrams arent as accurate i might be wrong2 points

Michael, Lets take all emotion out of it and be logical as to why people react to you the way they do: 1. You pirate software including the core program you wish to develop for (know this) 2. You get carried away with your "criticisms", which are often rude and petty 3. You haven't produced anything during your tenor as a developer but tout how you are so much better than everyone else(seen this) 4. You have never shown any respect to payware developers in the form by trying to distribute their work as your own Sorry Mikey but you are backing yourself into a corner. Look at this post and the first sentence....Doesn't seem like someone who has the best intentions. You are doing this to yourself.... Personally if you were my kid, and I found out you acted like this, you would be sent to your room without any electronic devices for a few months after your homework was finished and forced to read some classics.... ..1 point

Hrm. Using OE and WED together will generally issues; for the simple fact that WED will overwirte anything you do in OE (when you 'Export Scenery Pack'). It sounds like you used WED to do the layout and place polygons initially, then changed to OE to place the objects/facades; and have now swapped back to WED to do additional polygons. Unfortunately, WED does not see anything that you did in OE. If you now "export scenery pack" from WED, it will overwrite the .DSF you edited in OE. Polygons like that are not stored int he apt.dat, but in the DSF. Worse comes to worse, send us your earth.wed.xml file and your DSF file. (zip them up and post them here), and we can have a look in more detail as to whats going on. As youre using the OpensceneryX characters, they generally are already at the correct "LAYER_GROUP" as alluded to by Colin; however, its a good idea to check anyways, to ensure it's at something "above" taxiways. - Ck.1 point

As said many times before;shut up or put up. Mr. Chang, behind the scenes you're turning into a joke. This isn't the way to gain friends/credibility in this community. At this rate the ditch is getting deeper and deeper. "An empty wagon makes the most noise."1 point

Huh? Let me rephrase my earlier post a bit.... It appears that Mr. Chang is a hack. If I were him, I'd keep my pie-hole shut, develop my own payware aircraft and let my work do the talking. But as we see day after day, the internet ain't pretty and it gives people like Mr. Chang (and I'll repeat) the ability to write checks his mouth can't cash.1 point

Which I why I highly recommend that any developer, whether they be modeling or painting, spend some time looking over the actual plane, in person. That was always a huge help when I was choosing reference images and adjusting colors for my Alaska Airlines paints. As a photographer I should also note that you can get rid of a lot of distortion by shooting from far away and zooming in... of course not all photos are taken like this so it's certainly something you have to watch for if you're modeling from reference images.1 point

@topic starter: Are those little differences really matter? There are LOT of little differences in EVERY x-plane plane. Even in payware. Why? Because it's almost impossible to develop a plane if you don't have the right sources. And in right sources I mean really high quality blueprints and/or CAD-like drawings. Like my Let L-410. It's built from very poor quality blueprints, mostly based on pictures. Hundreds of hours comparing to pictures from different angles. It's really not as real as I'd like to see, but there is a point where you have to stop and say: "ok, from this, it's not worth the hours I put in, so I move on". I think this plane worth every cent and you have to live with these little differences (Sorry for poor english )1 point

"NOW most of you know me as a person of particular cut-throatiness, and I'll admit, I'm a mean person > " Mikey, Stop being a coward and this whole "I am being contrstructive" act. Your recent efforts show a lot of promise but to date nothing has been produced for us to look over. Other then a few FSX conversions..... I myself can see a few issues with the AC, especially how the nose and widows meet. But starting off a sentence with "NOW most of you know me as a person of particular cut-throatiness, and I'll admit, I'm a mean person"...especially knowing there is a language barrier is nothing short of antagonistic. But there is nothing here with this aircraft that doesnt justify the price. You did the same thing with the T7 when it was released. It is almost like you have developer penis envy or something. Fact is the way you talk of others work is distrubing to me, it shows me you dont have a leg to stand on....You are getting noticed by places like XSimReviews but if you continue acting like a spoiled brat your product will most likely be ignored.... Dude I thought you were starting to grow up a bit, my bad I was wrong.... Still using a pirated copy of XP10 for development? Remember? Something you admited on the XPlane Aviators Facebook page? You know the picture of the airport with water everywhere? That, well, gives you no legs....as a matter of fact no arms either.....If you were hung on a wall id call you ART.... Thing is Mikey, me and Im sure a few other people will not support someone who is an antagonist, pirate and well a complete asshole at times who still hasnt produced anything for the public to look at.... My advice to you initially was to let your work do the talking. A few WIP images is nothing dude....1 point

"Train Fever" might come out in 2014. I accidentally came across this website for an upcoming game. That is, if it hits the funding they're looking for. It's one of those crowd sourcing kind of projects. But boy does it look promising!! I love games like this. Can't think of any better games to play single player, really. "What about X-Plane!?"... It's not really a game, is it? This game is about making train connections between cities, and probably industries. You start out in 1850's. Here's a direct link to their trailer. http://www.train-fev.../media/trailer/1 point

Is it normal that the log file shows dozens or even hundreds of "errors" and "problems" whilst everything seems just fine? When I read the log just after a short flight I was amazed that XP did start at all and looked "normal" with that many "errors" and "problems" all over the place. Thanks Flo1 point

One of my favorite airports of all time, Kai Tak! I took some of my old FSX conversions out to Kai tak and flew them. Scenery is a conversion of the Fly Tampa Kai Tak scenery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxA69gIH254&feature=channel&list=UL1 point

Okay, so I just consulted some more images, and the innaccuracies of my Fokker are atrocious! So i've taken it on me, to completely re-do the interior and exterior portions. New windscreen location higher windows bulbous nose moved nose gear position A current shot of how the innaccuracies are being addressed. this system works quite well, as long as you know the viewing angle of your camera1 point

You guys you talk all this crap about planes but... It isn't nice they spent lots of time with this and it is brand new how bout sending them a pm and telling them not making a post so you can humiliate them it just isn't right! Have a heart if you spent a long time on a jet(and it has amazing flight dynamics) how would you like someone to make a post on a forum humiliating you? Plus you say exteriors are bad well that's because Yey work more on the cockpit and the flight dynamics besides it is all you see as a real pilot is the cockpit and all you feel is the flight dynamics! Just my opinion...1 point

Thus far, the 'focus flights' (held 3 times each week) have been relatively serious and traditional. Tomorrow, however, we're going to let loose and enjoy the network's ability to function as a fun, interactive environment for pilots. We're hosting a group flight through the Grand Canyon, along the river. This is a flight which many pilots have probably done many times by themselves. It's something else, though, to do it with: - an online environment that shows other pilots - high speed updates (5 times/sec) from other traffic - a working radio - AND...pre-recorded traffic that everyone sees, in the form of 4 F/A-18's that come thundering through at 600kts just above the water....every 5 minutes. If anyone has been thinking of giving this network a try, but perceived it as being a little too serious for them, and wasn't wild about ATC interaction, this would be the time to try it out. We're starting out at KGCN (a towered airport, but all you need to do is tune the ground frequency (121.90), call for taxi to the active, call tower when holding short (119.00), and then once you leave the airspace, they cut you loose. Full details with route maps, suggestions for traffic avoidance, etc, are all HERE.1 point
