  1. Hi! After thinking a lot, trying to know what plane to make by my own (with Philipp I will do other also more complicated), I think I finally found one that I like. O course I always look for those planes that are not so complicated but a joy to fly. I discovered the PMDG Jetstream 41 and love it. But I don't want ot repeat the work. Not because I could not do what they did, but because always would be comparison between both planes. I like more the 31/32 version because is shorter, and as you know with my planes I usually like to make small planes. Of course if there is no other project with this plane or the 41 already started (I looked for one and didn't saw it). It is needed info to make it better. All the documentation possible. Detailed pictures specially of cockpit. Overhead, circuit breaker and back panels or back cockpit. Ceiling of the cockpit.. Details of landing gears.. etc. Hope you like. Of course if the project goes ahead because no other competitor, I cannot say anything of time finishing. Not drawn a vertex. Thanks!

  2. GDay all, As mentioned to Andy, here's some screenshots of my attempt at using WED, GeoTiffs, GraphicConverter, and a few other graphical processing utilities. In no particular order. Some are earlier tests in the build to make sure things were working out. Many lines and taxiway features have been adjusted to be as accurate as possible. (Courtesy of LINZ/Land Information New Zealand for their recent 10 cm resolution orthos!) Orthos were downsampled to 2k x 2k, still giving excellent quality. The screenshots were also downsampled from 1680x1050 PNGs to 1024x600 JPEG at 80% quality as to not fill up x-pilot's hard drives. All shots in XPlane 10 Demo (as Im still waiting for my discs!). Buildings/Object Scenery is Roaloak's existing NZCH. Note that I've been able to make the orthos go 'above' the taxiways, so lines, markings, lights, signs, and the like are all layed on top of the ortho, giving a really nice effect. (i.e. you still still get all the taxiway lights, hold points, etc...), while the taxiway is still there underneath the scenery, so you can still drive on it properly. Happy new year to all. - Chris.

  3. I don't know if for this update 1.4, will be any calculation of Descent point. For sure we want to complete the fms as much as possible. But things takes time, and we think is more important to complete a holding page (that was ok but this one is better) than the start of descent, that can be calculated with the formula I put in the tutorial. But as said, we want to make vnav advisories in the future. Thanks

  5. No christmas present unfortunately, even for the Spanish christmas where you get the present on Jan 6th. However, we are getting there. I know several people who will like this: Philipp

  7. OK, it is weekend and I thought I just show you another cockpit render as the texturing of this part is nearing its completion as well. Not fully completed, but almost there.

  8. Hi everyone, Here's a video I made of the flight a friend and I did from Sarasota Intl Airport (KSRQ) to Miami intl Aiport (KMIA) Miami international was an incredibly busy airport, thus making for a very interesting approach. Also, at 3:05 you can spot a dreamlifter parked on the tarmac. Apologies for the landing slightly off the centerline, but it was windy Enjoy! http://youtu.be/Mo7s8YSbgbA?hd=1
