crisk73
Yes its a problem of ivai not recognising the secondary connection. Blame on the devs who don't care solving the issue (I've already asked for support in the IVAO forums but no response at all..). The same for ivai with ivap + ivac for the tower view.. No luck as well. We personally use to connect both to the network putting in RMK "crew of 2, pilot flying callsignX, pilot monitoring callsign Y", so we are both synced with the comms. TS2 for ATC comms, TS3 for internal comms. Only one transponder set to on to avoid tcas alert and confusion for the controllers.

No we don't, occasionally you can see the label of the other plane but only sometimes, it doesn't bother..

[SOUND] VOICE=1 [PREFERENCES] TAGGING=0 COUPLING=0 WEATHER=0 FIXEDWINDLAYER=1 MAXVISIBILITY=80000 TURBULANCE=15 [PLANE] RESOLUTION=8 [ACCOUNT] FOLLOWME=0 REMEMBER=1 HIDEADM=0 PORT=6809 SERVER=eu2.ivan.ivao.aero BASE=LFHO REALNAME=Claude ROULLIER PASSWORD=XXXXXX VID=XXXXXX CALLSIGN=VPI007 [CSL] PILOT1=VPI07 Add the last 2 lines. Type here the call sign of the other pilot, and vice versa. PS: For the controlers, only one pilot must set the transponder to ON (The knob is not synchronized in my file). jsnapp
I thought someone mentioned on their twitch stream that they had compiled the X-IVAP client for smart copilot. This isn't a solved problem yet?
sparkie66
Known issues in version x-IvAp 0.3.4Pay attention that no issues will be taken from a beta version of X-plane. X-ivap cannot connect on Ivai as a secondary connection (like tower view).Accented characters (é à ù ê ö etc) can't be used and will cause text typed after the character to not appear.Supervisor info command doesn't work.
