Simmo W Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 thanks Md, looks great! love that shuttle. love his cockpit closeups :-) Quote
Baber20 Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 This isn't x-plane 10 I guess. Its X-Plane 9 and only some of the aircrafts are from X-Plane 10. Am I right ? Because I don't see any improvement in the graphics engine whatsoever. Quote
Simmo W Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 agree Baber, doesn't look radically different yet, I recognized xpfr paris in there I think, in between those lightning fast edits (they would have taken a good few days!). at least they used REXplane Quote
Ben Russell Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 very unlikely that REX was used. Quote
Breyne Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Posted by the uploader on the comments."Lupineproductions:@HDOnlive Correct! IT IS NOT XP10!It just features some of the planes from XP10. I was going to include some clips from XP10 but we couldn't get them ready in time." Quote
samen Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Why are they using the x737 as the plane for X-Plane 10. Its a v9 plane not yet for X-Plane 10 unless the x737 team have sent a new copy to them. Quote
Airbus Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Why are they using the x737 as the plane for X-Plane 10. Its a v9 plane not yet for X-Plane 10 unless the x737 team have sent a new copy to them.It is a preview video after all. Quote
Planes Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Why are they using the x737 as the plane for X-Plane 10. Its a v9 plane not yet for X-Plane 10 unless the x737 team have sent a new copy to them. It's fan made, nothing official. Maybe that's why. Quote
Cameron Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 It's fan made, nothing official. Maybe that's why. It's not fan made. It's officially sanctioned by Laminar. Quote
Kesomir Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 The insides of some of those planes looks like Javier's work - the X-1 for example. Was one the current MU-2 cockpit? Quote
Cameron Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 The insides of some of those planes looks like Javier's work - the X-1 for example. That's because Javier is one of the Laminar plane developers for XP 10. Quote
Kesomir Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I am that good +1 fan point to myself Tom is as well - any other XA devs? Quote
Cameron Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Tom is as well - any other XA devs? There's a few of us that have been working on various aspects of the sim or tech involved. I'm sure it will all come out in time. It's an impressive lineup for v10. Quote
MdMax Posted August 20, 2010 Author Report Posted August 20, 2010 Here are some interesting notes from Ben about the videos and X-Plane 10 pictures:http://xplanescenery.blogspot.com/2010/08/x-plane-10-what-has-been-posted-so-far.html Quote
Nova Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 This is the Cirrus Jet with landing lights implemented via global illumination. We get two distinct landing lights that cast specular hilights on the fuselage. As the door animates, it opens "into the light".He has missed to mention one more thing: have a closer look at the engine exhaust. The air is flickering, due to hot air. There seems to be some really nice eye candy coming, but i doubt, that my current PC can handle all this stuff. So all this texturing for the Javlin or CRJ will be obsolete when XP10 arrives. Quote
Baber20 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Some very interesting stuff coming up I see ! Time to buy that 6-Core processor Quote
Wynthorpe Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Hmmm not overly impressed at all! Some of the bits were nice but rest looked pretty shoddy to me. Quote
Baber20 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Some thing more on X-Plane 10 and Global Illumination. http://xplanescenery.blogspot.com/2010/08/x-plane-10-and-global-illumination.html Quote
