Hmm i still have to register when i click on "A340-600 Aircraft Download". :-\

I read in different reviews, of different aircrafts, that some testers claim, that the tested aircraft has bad/wrong/wierd flight dynamics. But how can that be? Isn't X-Plane calculation the whole airflow around the aircraft multiple times per second? If someone has enough data of the aircrafts' shape, then everything should be right. And with right engine data everything should be 99% to the real thing, shouldn't it? So how can a tester state, that things are wrong?

Practice landings ??? I know some people need to do this, but i can't even remember if i ever had a bad landing ever. I see guys crashing into the ground, when im ATC at VATSIM, but it is, and guess always will be, a mystery to me, how they archiev this.

In degrees celsius. But 100 fahrenheit are just 37°, way too cold for water to boil. 70°? Or F? Anything below 40°/104F i wouldn't call hot. Sure, you may sweat a bit but thats it. Nothing to complain about, imho.

I feel with you We haven't even been even near 35° / 95F here in germany. We had one really hot week, but that's already a few month ago. Since then either average 21-26° / 70-80F which is somehow ok, rainy days or cloudy days with 10-18° / 50-65F. And i guess, that's it with the summer. Time to call out autumn again.

Has there ever been anything that wasn't working after a new release? I had 10.2 - 10.5 until i switched to PC, and there have never been any issues with any game/software i had. Why should it be different now?

The problem you have is that you are NOT using ICAO codes, but IATA. IATA has 3 digits, and those are not used for flighplans. You have to use the 4 digit ICAO codes! John F. Kennedy International Airport is JFK as IATA, but KJFK as ICAO. Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport is labeled as MUC as IATA but EDDM as ICAO. So you have to look up the right ICAO codes.

X-Plane doesn't care about overweight and so on. You can land with 250 Ktns and twice the weight of the max weight if you wish. There will never be a tyre blow because of that, or any damage to something else, as long as you don't hit the runway too hard. Either you crash, or you don't. That are the only options you have.

What's the point with it not working?

As you said, it's fictional, but i would still like to see a "real" registration on it. Helicopters registered to germany are having a D-Hxxx registration. I don't think it looks so bad. Some sort of "show paint" ;D

Sorry if i'm OT, but as i own a RC heli myself i have it configured this way. Cyclic left Throttle/Pitch (depends on the heli i fly) + Rudder in the right I know someone, who uses Up/Down + Rudder left Pitch/Throttle + Roll right

As far as i know, XP9 uses a max of 2 cores. Haven't seen it use more. One for the flight dynamics, the second for scenery loads in the background. Thus overclocking gives you more, than having more cores. While i had 100% on both cores on the old sytem (C2D E8400@3.6GHz) i have now 100% on one, and 20% on the second core, while another two are idle (i5-2500k@4.0GHz). I had it on 4.5GHz for a while, but i didn't notice a difference. Except the CRJ

How can a QuadCore at 4.5GHz and a boost up to 4.8GHz on a single core be the bottleneck? I do not have the equipment here to get it to work on 5.6GHz Would need either watercooling or dry ice. But i'm pretty optimistic, that i can have a good amout of objects with XP10. The bigger problem is VRAM. 1280MB is just way not enough. Any game i have, can't even break the 800MB barrier on max, but XP9 uses everything even with compression, and planes like the Dash are unusable with HighRez textures. Next time i'll buy a card with 3GB VRAM or more, although they are slower than those with less VRAM.

And when you switch on the landing light, the cockpit gets a bit brighter. Or was it the taxi light,...or the cabin lights...darn! Saw it yesterday and already forgot it >_< Will have a look again this evening.

Normally you should have MORE FPS with XSB then without it. Why? If you have 5 other aircrafts drawn (aircraft & situation settings) their flight model will be calculated if you don't have the XSB installed. With it, they are neither shown, nor any flight model is calculated. I still don't know how people can reach 100FPS. My PC is not that bad at all, yet only having minor improvements over my old E8400@3.6Ghz and GTX260. Even with no scenery or even ground textures, i can barely reach 50FPS.

But don't forget, that i showed you another bug, you didn't know until then I posted this in the 1.0 support a long time ago, and everyone said it was navigraph data or user failure and not a CRJ issue.... but obviously it is... as we know now.

Closing, opening, closing All i did, was uninstalling the last installed version of the C++ runtime and made a restart. When i did a flight yesterday, the issue came up again. But i figured out, that it's me not the CRJ. I'm pretty sure i always used only the left row of buttons to enter my waypoints. But the left side is only for airways. Fixes/VORs/NDBs are giving an "invalid entry" error. Use the right side of buttons to enter single waypoints. I noticed this yesterday. I don't know why i switched to using the left side only, but i kept doing it until Phillip made a route. And after that, although i told him i would make it as i did the last few days, i made it right again. But didn't notice this until yesterday. Try it out, and report back. :-) Edit: Erhm... i just noticed that this would not explain why loaded flightplans had only the first waypoint shown only. So this wasn't the problem at all? Guess we have to wait for your result Perry. Edit 2: Ok i just noticed, that i cannot delete a waypoint on the FLPN page. It keeps saying "no entry allowed" when i click DEL and select a waypoint, no matter if i use the right or left side. Working as inteded, or bug? I cannot override a waypoint either. So i have to go to the LEGS page, and either override it there, or delete it and enter it then in the FLPN page. Oh and Phillip, when you said "you have this strange line too, on the PFD" i told you it would be, because i'm aligned to another airport. Remember, aligned at LSZH, but standing on EDDM for testing the STAR issue. I got the line again. Aligned at LOWI, standing at LOWI, route to EDDM. He draws the line from LOWI to the current waypoint i'm browsing to through the LEGS page.

Ok problem solved, although no one really knows what caused this behavior. My guess is, that either the x86 and 64bit version of the 2010 C++ had a problem, or the 2008 version which was installed on friday made problems. But no one can say that for sure. After deinstalling both 2010 versions and the 2008, i made a reinstall of the CRJ and a reboot. It worked the first time Philipp and i tested it. Should have tried to re/deinstall those versions earlier. :-\ How embarrassing. But i entered the route just like i always did. So my point goes to a incompatibility between C++ revisions, and not a continuing customer failure. Thanks for the help!

Here is a list of installed C++ versions. I don't know if it is possible to download and install them separately so i hesitate a bit of deinstalling the ones that don't come with the CRJ. [5 minutes passed] Ok, deinstalled the latest installed version which came with Tropico 3. But it didn't change anything. The last successful flight was on may 20th from LSZH to EDDW where i then got the bug. @Japo: No i don't own another pc. The very last option would be, that i reinstall Win7. But that is a no go. It would take hours to get it installed, backing up all files, restoring them, installing apps again and so on...maybe if i have plenty of spare time, but that's not the case currently.

I did a complete new install of the CRJ. No nav data was updated. Standing at LSZH with just water around me, no other plugins, no other planes or sceneries "installed". I just don't see why it will not work. I haven't changed anything to the original install, where i was flying about 9 routes online without any problems. I noticed this issue last week when i wanted to make another trip. And since then i cannot get it to work again. However, on the old install, i noticed that the uninstaller isn't removing saved flightplans. I was still able to load them, and they where in the corresponding directory. Edit: Screenshot attached
