alpha12125 Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 Is it possible to power back in the Saab ? I have seen videos of the Saab doing it in real life but for some reason it wont work in x-plane. The reversers will stop my plane but never reverse it. I am unsure wether this is possible at all or there is some issue on my part ? Quote
alpha12125 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Posted July 27, 2015 Maybe i am the only one that needs to reverse the plane at a gate How does everyone else reverse the plane when they sit at a gate ? Quote
wim1976 Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Most times I taxi through the buildings before me and ask my kids looking at my flying to look elsewhere for the next two minutes. Quote
Goran_M Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 At Sydney Airport at least, REX Airlines don't park nose to gate (from what I have seen). They park parallel to the gate. Quote

Goran_M Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 Video shows honeywell fmsCan you recognize it ? What exactly is your point? That the Saab we made doesn't have an FMS and it should, or you are just pointing out that the Saab in the video has an FMS?To answer the second part of your post, Jim and I can recognize an FMS. However, after recognizing it, I will refer you to the first part of my post. What exactly is your point? Quote
Andyrooc Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 My translation is "Great video! Is that Honeywell fms?" Yes and yes. Quote
wim1976 Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 To me it looks like that the video is posted to prove the powerback possibility of the Saab. Quote

JGregory Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) Sam, The TOPIC was whether the Saab from XA can be "powered back". Your first post was this...Fine !honeywell fms isn't it ? Your second post was this...Video shows honeywell fmsCan you recognize it ? Your third post was this...yes, that's video shows. that's the topicfor your second part, i know xpilot saab 340. i enjoy flying with but it is out of this topic An FMS has NOTHING to do with being able to power back the Saab! So, I am sure you can see why we don't understand your point. Please explain to me which of your posts is ON TOPIC. Edited July 30, 2015 by JGregory 1 Quote
sam13 Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 my remark concerns video of this topici have no problem with power back, idem with fms or gps Quote
JGregory Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 my remark concerns video of this topici have no problem with power back, idem with fms or gpsMy point was that your comments had NOTHING to do with the topic of THIS thread, which was about power back. The fact that the video shows an FMS has nothing to do with power back !! You making a comment about the FMS in the video is OFF TOPIC for this thread. Quote
94Miata Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 Back to the OP, can the developers address the question about the capability of power back in x-plane? Quote
