In the movie "Flight" with Denzel Washington, the captain arrives at the same time as the passengers are boarding. He then sits down in cockpit and asks his co-pilot if he have done the preflight procedures. Then the push back starts. Is this correct? Does this ever happens in the real world?

The movie was really bad... I wouldn't compare it to a real situation. Normally you do the pre-flight procedures with your Co-Pilot :) The way he flies the plane is nowhere near to a real procedure...

Hollywood movies, what you expect, to see the walk around and the full start procedures?

In my opinion it was a makeover of Alaska Airlines MD-80 crash, but with happy ending!

What Hollywood produce is nothing like real life!  :P

You're comparing a movie where they flew a mid-size passenger jet inverted in a climb and crashed at high speed and people survived and the pilot was on drugs and...

To real life? ;)
