flydav Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) Those should be strobe lights but they alternate a white light to a smoke-like black halo. I have this problem with HDR on ONLY. I know similar problems have been reported already but couldn't find the topic. Edited December 11, 2013 by flydav Quote

I unistalled SkyMaxx and everything is ok with and without HDR so I'm 100% positive, I'm on a MAC. Edited December 12, 2013 by flydav Quote
flydav Posted December 12, 2013 Author Report Posted December 12, 2013 John regarding the scenery I sent you you must have the FF_Library and the FF_library_extended_lod installed. If you want I will send you the link to a different version (which includes that file that your X plane can't find) but I would recommend the first solution Quote
Cameron Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I'm on a MAC. This may be the cause. We have some updated OGL code in the upcoming 1.2 update, so this may already be fixed for the next update. 1 Quote

MercuryMat Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Does anyone know of a specific built-in airport or aircraft in X-Plane that exhibits this problem? Jardesign A320...but only the fuel truck lights when it is attached to the aircraft. Sent from Tapatalk Edited January 10, 2014 by Mad Mat Quote
sundog Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 Thank you Mat. We have been trying to isolate this issue this whole time but it is proving elusive, even after engaging Laminar on it. Having an easier-to-find test case will help however. 1 Quote
dron420 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 We have the same issues whit halo lights. The clouds cover the rays of lights, if they are in the field of view and far behind the aircraft. Flashes of bacon or nav lights are only those at an aircraft circuit, that on the background of sky and clouds is disappear. It is very ugly and annoying. I also acknowledge a problem with the lights in the inversion of the negative. Solve the problem Quote
Cameron Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Solve the problemRead instead. ...or are you saying you have this issue with the aircraft you develop? Quote
dron420 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) No this is issue with some standart becons (lights is negative...yours link above) and standart lightes and you clouds (airplanes lights on the background of clouds is obscured). All is standart. Edited January 12, 2014 by dron420 Quote
scorpio2001de Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 It also occures to the flashing lights of policecars, cranes etc. Quote
Cameron Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 It also occures to the flashing lights of policecars, cranes etc. Thanks, but that's already been discussed. We know it exists, we don't know why, and thus far neither does Laminar. No need to be redundant in what we already know. Quote
