John Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Finally finished my first attempts at a livery--swore a lot but enjoyed it. Shes a lovely planeWow, very nicely done Edwin! You gave her such a gorgeous 'working girl' appearance. Have you shared that paint file anywhere? I'd love to have it... both to fly AND to check out your png artistry. Here's a few of my current project. This .acf file is amazing... I just threw some drab green paint on her and then when you open it up in x-plane the file's underlaying textures really bring any paint to life. Theo's work I wonder???In any event, its rather like putting lipstick on Isabella Rossellini... how can you go wrong? 1 Quote
edwin Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Nice ones-wouldn't mind a swap-best by personal message?Heres a couple with the floats repainted too. Only fly Bush so wanted her to look old fashioned. I'm really am over the moon with this excellent model,as it's really well turned out, flies so well and more so because I actually flew to Egypt in one of these 60 years ago before the Suez crisis only to find a complete plane minus undercarraige on a munitions dump some 500 yds from our house which I 'Flew' most days until we were evacuated.
