larjeet Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Hey tom just wondering why the switches and canopy latch don't work in 64 bit version ? Quote
Cameron Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Hey tom just wondering why the switches and canopy latch don't work in 64 bit version ?Because the Falco plugin is not 64-bit. Quote
tkyler Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 I haven' compiled the Falco plugins to 64-bit yet Larry. Dealing with 3 operating systems is a pain...its the main reason why we're all wanting to go with gizmo and we wont' have to deal with that kind of stuff. I suspect I'll get to the Falco at some point. I have higher priority things that I must manage first though. TomK Quote
tkyler Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) The Falco has officially been adapted to the new Gizmo workflow pipeline and is 90% converted to Gizmo (in only 7 hours of work). This does NOT mean it will come out in the next week. I am using the Falco for testing 2 new frameworks for electrical and sound systems. It is fair to say though that the 64-bit Gizmo version of the Falco will probably be out sometime in the summer if not sooner TomK Edited June 3, 2013 by tkyler Quote
Fab10 Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Hi,Can someone please let me know whether the drop dead gorgeous Falco is 64-bit capable (this thread suggests it will have happened some time ago), and whether the Falco will run in XP 10.30.Honestly, there isn't a Carenado or Alabeo that can match the Falco, so even if you have something for Falco pilots to try even if less than 100% for now, then please let us have it!Thanks,Fabio Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Sorry, we've locked Tom in a room with nothing but a computer and a 737 FMS reference manual until further notice. Quote
Cameron Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 It is not 64-bit compatible. Quote
Fab10 Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 In that case, I respectfully suggest that Tom needs a break (and I'd wager that he would heartily agree with me). Please give Tom the Falco manual instead, a cup of tea, two or three biscuits, and a deadline for next week! Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 I respectfully counter that there's a reason why this thread sat idle for over a year. Quote
tkyler Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 The Falco actually sits a good way toward 64-bit compatibility but enough remains that it needs a window of time I can't fit into my schedule at the moment. The good news is that the Falco will see 64-bit light of day (barring my untimely death) and improved when it does....and it will be a great value too. TomK 1 Quote

I don't have my new simming computer yet. Maybe by the end of the year. Your schedule is fine... Quote
Fab10 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Enthusiastically looking forward to a 64-bit Falco! That's the trouble with homebuilds, they do take time!.... Quote
pugwash Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Any news on this being 64-bit yet? Would love to get this plane back in my personal hanger but time is passing and no joy - yet? Thanks Quote
Cameron Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Any news on this being 64-bit yet? Would love to get this plane back in my personal hanger but time is passing and no joy - yet? Thanks It's one of my favorite aircraft too. Truth be told, I don't think we'll see much of ANYTHING from Tom until after his obligations on the IXEG 737 are completed. Quote
pugwash Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Cameron Many thanks for the prompt reply. I can well understand and will have to curb my enthusiasm until ... Just open that door and throw an occasional beer to Tom. Quote
User42 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Good to know it's even in the pipeline, I really love the Falco! Quote
