StippiPIC Posted February 8, 2022 Report Posted February 8, 2022 (edited) Good evening, pls see problem written in the subject above. Used the "Interior Fuel Panel". Pls also see screen enclosed. Is this is a bug or am i doing sth wrong here? Cheers, Stefan Edited February 9, 2022 by Pils Quote
Pils Posted February 8, 2022 Report Posted February 8, 2022 Please provide a screenshot of the Fuel Level Sensors window. Quote
StippiPIC Posted February 9, 2022 Author Report Posted February 9, 2022 Hi there, thank you for the prompt reaction. Pls find enclosed data incl Sensor windows. Again: Left tank is not full but HL light on at the Fuel Panel and valve closed. Right tank is full but no HL light on and valve still open. Cheers, Stefan Quote
sunake Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 I notice the airplane is leaning to the left and nose down. You probably can't fill the tanks because of this. The left leaning is probably tricking the fuel level sensors that the tanks are full and hence won't take any more fuel. Park the plane on level ground. Quote
flyingfudge Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 I've had exactly the same problem. Surely the High Level Shutoff Valve should apply to the right wing and not the left? Or are we saying that the left tank was full originally but that it drained into the right tank after being parked on a slope? In that case, why is the right pump still showing "OP" when the tank is full? Quote
sunake Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 (edited) I don't have technical knowledge of how it all works, so my guesses are just guesses. But because the airplane seems to be in a left wing down attitude, the fuel is probably running to the outer section of the left fuel tank. I assume the high level sensors are out there because it wouldn't make sense to have them towards the inner wing since that part is generally lower than the outer wing and because of gravity. But the graphics, if I'm seeing it correctly in my phone screen shows the airplane in a left hand tilt, so fuel wouldnt flow to the right wing because the right wing is higher. Edit: the right wing can take more fuel because, assuming the high level sensors are towards the outer part they won't trigger as soon as the left wing because the right wing is higher. Again these are just guesses, so maybe someone else with more technical knowledge can explain and correct me Edited February 9, 2022 by sunake Quote
Pils Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 It is due to being on a hill, but is more likely a bug, the developer is looking into it. 1 Quote
