Debowing Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 How to make sure this is closed before the flight? Quote
Cameron Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 By visually inspecting it's closed. Quote
skiselkov Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 This also produces a while "EXTERNAL DOOR OPEN" CAS message, which alerts pilots to the fact that some service panel isn't closed and locked. Quote
Rastuasi Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 Also it would show open on the galley screen's door menu section. Quote
Graeme_77 Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 It does, yes. Also that's the fuel door you're talking about, don't put electricity in there ;-) I've marked some of them on the pic. Close the main cabin door, check the doors status page, say hello to passengers, play the PA. Quote
Debowing Posted January 11, 2022 Author Report Posted January 11, 2022 yes, but how is it closed? I am on the ground now. Quote
JT8DNoise Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 Hi, you have to walk up to the fuel servicing door, place your mouse pointer over the door, push the door closed and then close each latch carefully. Some IRL operations require prior to engine start, a last chance walk around check, this requires one of the crew to walk around the aircraft looking for open latches or doors, chocks, covers, FOD, wing contamination, etc. Lots of things get caught with this method.
