How do we setup the DH to apear on the EHSI?

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim

DH is supposed to be blanked out while abobe 2500 ft radio altitude, so no possible to configure there.

You set is by rotating the DH knob (0 to 999 valid values). It will flash when going below DH

Sorry for the delay in responding.

So If I can't set above 2500ft, do I set the DH to 6 whilst in ground at departure runway if for example I'm destined to an airport where the chart for ils states MDA 600?

FYI I've set it to 6 before being airborne and can't say I have seen it flash or hear it Audible when on my approach descending through 600ft.

Cheers.

If you want the DH to be 600, then set it to 600, not 6.  The DH will stop working below 5.

Set it to 600 when you are descending to land and your altitude is below 2500 ft.
