Charlie Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 I tried to make a 737 nose but it ended up looking like someone had taken a sledge hammer to it!
Goran_M Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Something I've wanted to model for a while.
Gjalp Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 At last your training is complete, now you are a jedi. Slainte, Andy - not quite a jedi but trying NZCH

AgreMeister Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Practice At first I thought MD-11.. but the screens are wrong, what is it? 1
Gjalp Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Looks Boeing to me......possibly a 787 pit? Goran, I don't think x-wings have wheels per se, however if they did then that render would be awesome!!! I also look forward to the training......then the world will be mine mwah hahahahahha!!!!!!!! Slainte, Andy - Jedi in training NZCH
Orcair Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Looks like a Tu-204 to me! Looks right to me!
Peter T. Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 i made an airport terminal to test my skills in texturing... 2
AnonymousUser68 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 You have done a really good job! I wish I could texture like that. haha
Gjalp Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Peter T, fantastic modelling and texturing. Are you going to let us know what you are planning yet or is that still a trade secret? SLainte, AndyNZCH
liser Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 This is what I've been working on for the last two months or so. Still some things are missing in the cockpit! 4
Gjalp Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 very nice!!!! IS that the B1900d? Slainte, AndyNZCH
liser Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 very nice!!!! IS that the B1900d? Oh yes! I've been working on its 3D cockpit to improve my skills and knowledge, but I'm afraid I sadly won't publish it for the moment. It's implemented on twinproflyer's Beech, but it seems he is out of the bussiness because he doesn't reply to my emails and pms I've sent him since a month ago or so. Perhaps someone knows him and could tell me something. Anyway, I've learnt a lot with this project and now I've got very valuable knowledge that I can use in new projects. But obviously I can't publish without his permission.Glad you like it! Thanks!
Gjalp Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 I have the B1900d and I love flying it as I see them alot here in NZCH. While your at it can you make the shadow map for the cockpit as it needs some "depth" to match todays standards?Looking forward to seeing what else you do with this and other projects Slainte, AndyNZCH 1

Flying_pig Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Here are some renders of the 3 aircraft that i modeled before i started the B-29 and C-46. I will not be importing any of these into x-plane at this point in time (but I may I import the CL-215 model once the B-29 and C-46 are done. Sorry if this post is extremely long. 1
Flying_pig Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 This model might have a slight bit of polygon optimization 1
