Hi and thanks for the feedback - sorry to hear that you are having this problem! We have heard of a report like this once before - it seems to be a problem with the OpenAL sound library system that is happening very rarely on some systems, for reasons unknown to us. I will try to find the post about this problem and see if there was a solution to it - eventually we plan to move the sounds to the FMOD sound system, which should solve this problem. Can you try setting your volume lower or putting your sound out on a different device (i.e. going from monitor speaker to headset or so)? Maybe that will help as it sounds like the sound volume is exceeding a certain sound level on your system, possibly. Sorry I can not provide any more clear guidance, Jan

No, the UNS doesn’t set the NAV1 course. It doesn’t IRL either, it’s just not wired this way with this avionics suite. not sure what you mean by “dial it using HDG” — you’d match the heading but with your current heading, then switch the AP mode to HDG. Then change navigation sources to NAV1, set the ILS/LOC front course using the CRS1 knob, then follow ATC instructions u til you can arm NAV or APPR on the autopilot.

Hello, Every time I watched the replay of my landing I got a crash when I land. I discovered that it happens all the time when I land and set the reverse thrust. Then I decided to start a new flight, I have set aircraft state to engines running, then I got to external view and set reverse thrust, applied more power and I got crash. So I get crash every time I am in external view and I'm setting reverse thrust, no matter if it is a replay or not. Sitting inside the cockpit and setting reverse thrust works as intended, I get no crash. Also I get a crash when I'm sitting in the cockpit, then I open the window and I start the engine. Once the the N2 starts spooling up then I get the crash. If I start the engines with windows closed then everything works as intended. Also sim crashes when starting the engines from the external view. Also I sometimes can't start the flight from the first time. Sometimes sim crashes even when starting the flight with IXEG 737. But most of the time it loads fine and I can make full flight if I'm not opening the windows or setting reverse thrust in external view. Sim has no addons except avitab. It would be nice to hear if there is solution to this. Log.txt

Mac OS 26 Tahoe on a Mac Studio - X-Plane in Mac silicon mode. Both 530s won't recognise any VORs. They don't identify any, the radials - if they show anything at all - are wrong - usually displays 180, and the distances are wrong too. That bit of the display may not even show a radial or distance. The DME sometimes agrees with the GPS derived distance, but I may have to click its button once or twice. Often the ground speed and time is 0, but it may show some value which is way off. I can be doing 140kts, and it will say 25 or whatever..... My X-Plane is running in 12.3.0 b2. Could that be it? Thank you!! @Coop There is also an issue with the course knobs for the various HSI/CDIs. The FO side HSI course knob can end up controlling the NAV2 OBS knob on the Capt. side. The NAV2 instrument on the Captain side does not show NAV2 data, but just mirrors the HSI. Its course also can not be independently set without affecting the FO side.

Nope. Loads okay here. But try this. Load the Plane and set all Settings as you want them to be when you load the Plane. Then open the Planes MU2 Preferences and save them. A second try is to open the New Flight Menu and go to the Plane Settings Failure Page and repair all Failures.

It varies from airline to airline and even then between different configurations. If you put in many small seats -> more passengers, and vice versa.

Good morning Guys. I just did my first two flights in the CL650 after months. The procedures were still in my brain, at least she flew - But I noticed, compared to last time, that she seems to be very sensitive on pitch. It felt like a combination of sensitive an slow response time. is there any "typical misstep" that could cause this? Thanks

Hi First of all thanks a lot for this nice plane! I only have one question: When using the UNS-1 and on final, I switch from FMS to NAV Mode at the EHSI Display Controller. Regulary with this kind of setup I expect that since the ILS runway is programmed at the UNS-1 and the NAV 1 frequency is set properly, that the ILS LOC course is set automatically. Do I miss something, or is it , that I have to use HDG mode for dialing the ILS course manually? I also have this issue on Mac M4. I have Rosetta installed and checked in the ‘get info’ window of the x plane 12 application. Have submitted ticket.

Support for Rosetta 2 is apparently ceasing (with some exceptions) in MacOS in 2027. I am now surprised that a large number (including many newer and terrific products) from the store have still not been converted to work natively in Mac silicon. As Macs have been using ARM based chips since late 2020 (5 years!), every piece of software that is now produced is for ARM based Macs, although some will still be universal, and will work on Intel Macs. Office stuff, photo-editing, music production, etc. - all work in Mac silicon, including vast numbers of little utilities. As far as X-Plane is concerned, virtually every developer of aircraft has its fleet working natively on silicon Macs. I love my X-Aviation aircraft, but I really don't want to rely on Rosetta (and keep having to change the X-Plane program to work in Rosetta) when I want to fly all those Gizmo reliant aircraft. I'm not too sure how much has to be altered - I guess all the mac.xpl programs have to be changed, but I have no idea how much Gizmo was integrated into the systems. Maybe the sales don't justify the effort.....
