  1. Photos from My Twitch.tv Live Stream Flight from KSFO to KLAX. Thank you LES and XA for this wonderful aircraft!
  2. I wish the stupid childish post would get deleted as they are unrelated to the topic "What did you fly today?". That being said........
  3. Aaaannnnndddd It is fixed. I had to first import the apt data into WED then Import both DSF files into WED. With each DSF file had the exclusion zone with it. Each one was only for objects. So I changed them to cover all the options. I then saved and exported the scenery pack. All is good for me to never fly into that airport again.
  4. Sooooooo...... I imported the Apt data into WED and found no exclusion zones. This is odd because overlay editor shows them. I added them in WED exported the fixes and now I have nothing but taxi lights. haha ( I guess that fixes the original issue ) Anyway, I really don't know why I want to fix this, as I don't fly here often and it is not even my file. I guess it is my OCD kicking in. LOL I know what I will be doing this weekend.
  5. I don't think the DC-3 ever flew across the US on one tank of fuel, Boeing lists the max range at 1,495 miles. If one did, it had to have been modded to carry more fuel. Mileage across the USA. East to West = 2880 miles (CA-ME) North to South = 1860 miles (FL- MN)
  6. I believe it had 4 types of exclusion zones in Overlay editor. I am going to mess with it when I get home.
  7. Hehe, If he has been flying over the default scenery and thinking its the NZ pro, his mind will be blown when he sees the real deal in the sim after fixing it. I have been running all of your scenery since I found your website a few years ago. The Forest and farms mods are on the top of the must have list. =)
  8. That was the first thing I thought also, however I checked the file in overlay editor and it has an exclusion zone. Oddly enough the file wont open in the new WED beta so I may fiddle around with the file some to see what WED shows when I get home tonight. Please note this is not my airport and the file can be found on the other xplane website.
  9. A quick flight before work.
  10. Oh sweet, Thanks john
  11. I am having a big issue with the new global airports. They seem to be over writing some of the custom airports that I have already had. Or I should say loading both at the same time. Example: KBOS from the global airports Load over top of KBOSv10 custom airport. I have played with the scenery_packs file and No matter where I put the global airport entry or KBOS entry, it still over writes it. I am at a loss
  12. I flew a DHL Flight from KJFK to KBOS. (Note: I think the new "wet textures replaced urban extreme Look at the overly shiny city )
  13. I have that tomahawk, It a good plane for freeware. Before you buy anything wait a few months. Chances are Alabeo will release their Tomahawk for X-Plane. http://www.alabeo.com/
  14. Its a good video, however the dude yelling "We've got bush" Kills it.
  15. Quick! Release it before you change your mind again! Do not send me on a roller coaster ride, man!

    RAIN

I have to agree. I use rain-x window wash fluid, and I can pretty much turn off my wipers at 50+ mph. So I would imagine it would be way better at 100+ MPH.
  17. Any update for us? Or is the quiet before the Storm?
  18. Should have bought it from X-Aviation.
  19. Well nice, I know what I will be doing tonight =)
  20. I understand about being impatient, however he did say he did not know when the release of the update will be. He also said, He would like it out in a few days, but we all know, if its not possible, its not possible. I would rather them hold up the update if they can squeeze in a few more bug fixes that were close to being finished or fully test the patch so there is no additional bugs caused. X-plane 10, FSX, P3D have their Positives and Negitives. X-Plane 10 is a nexgen flight sim, where as FSX / P3D (in current state) is old news with devs (not M$ devs) scrapping the bottom of the barrel to keep them going. You have great planes and add-ons that are out coming out for X-plane 10 and it will only get better.
  21. The Value of his post are to inform people of what can be expected in the update. I see no reason to be upset by this. I am flying my Saab with 660gtx with HRD on with FPS's running 20-25. Also a Titan will not help, Its your CPU not GPU fyi. You are comparing running a 13 year old flight sim to X-plane 10 with an add-on that is equivalent to a program, on it's own, running inside another program. My old setup which was 6 years old ran FSX -Orbx etc etc with no problems also, but had a hell of a time with X-plane 10. So comparing the 2 is irrelevant. It sad that we live in the "I want it now" age. This is the cause of so much crap that is put out on the mark before it ready. Just be glad he is giving you any kind of update. Which is a lot more than I can say for most publishers / Devs in the gaming industry. I find it funny that you are mentioning spamming f5 to find out about an update. That is just pure insanity to me and I believe these people have a slight problem. This reminds me of people waiting for beta key invite emails from blizzard (by refreshing their inbox) and crying on the forums when they don't get one. LOL!
  22. LOL These textures are 1000 times better than the stock textures of FSX....... Oh and these are free...
  23. Yes, you can. I did it the other day on my flight from KLFT to KATL. I miss calculated by 500lbs of fuel and had to add via the slider. I did not want to crash after a 2.5hr flight. Although it turned out I had just enough, however the warning lights were making me nervous. So I caved in.
  24. Sure it does, You just gotta keep moving the fuel slider. In flight refueling. I kidd....
