  1. How can you tell which script you have? I know I'm using 2.6, but I don't know which script.
  2. You can make it so that the ortho keeps the water, and loads below it so the water defined in X-Plane cuts through the ortho. It lets you have an ortho that has streams or rivers that X-Plane doesn't draw merging into the ones it does draw. I forgot what layer it should be.
  3. Patience time. Unless you have some more screenshots to show, those are always nice.
  4. Amazing! I might upgrade to V10 now. Calling texture guru! John Maxx, you up for it?
  5. ***OLD POST***Colin, have you read Google's terms? I know the others don't allow much other use, but google isn't strict.***OLD POST*** EDIT: I read your rant, and can you give me the paragraph/section that is in? I never saw it. EDIT2: Found it. It is in their additional terms for Google maps/Google earth. I have been reading the terms dealing with the api.
  6. I use GIMP, but I may try to learn PS also. Why not?
  7. Happy Birthday from me, and AeroBridge Studios!
  8. 16 minutes late, judging by your last edit. Almost there!
  9. Yeah, someone answered on another forum, but that's it. It is Stockmar Airport.
  10. Can anyone help me identify this aircraft? Some things to look at/ things you might not notice/ not in the pictures -Struts/ strut-wing fairing -The one door is on the left, mid-cabin -Three rows of seats -The wheel pants -Air Force markings
  11. He says it begins with P, then says Hawaii. It starts with PH, and I think karingka is right
  12. "Layer_group taxiways 2" should work The others off the top of my head are, from bottom to top: Roadways, airports, taxiways, runways, markings.
  13. *clapping, and I shout, "Steve should be our leader!"*
  14. Dang, I was hoping it to be lackluster. Now I think I might have to get it. Well that's $20 out of my ppl fund.
  15. I just wonder if the engine is well done. Do I have to be careful, or can I overdo it everywhere? And the sound- is it up to par with the Caravan and Skymaster?
  16. Well you can fix that... retype CID and password
  17. I have looked at it, but even with the discounts my insrtuctor gives me, I have decided to hold off on flying PE. I did the demo, but wasn't as captivated as I thought I would be. I don't know if I just don't like the area, or if there was something that I didn't like, but I just didn't see enough benefit. I still think of it as a great tool and am not saying it doesn't help, but it's not for me. However, I haven't gone to a towered airport yet, only CTAF, but I'm good at that. I might come back if I have trouble at a tower. Thanks, Ryan Now, back on topic. What about teamspeak? What limits are there with that approach? (no pun intended)
  18. I would love pilotedge fly ins, but I don't have the money for pilotedge. So a free day would be amazing.
  19. It's a Venturi. This plane doesn't have a vacuum pump, a venturi provides a vacuum to run the gyros. Same way a carburator sucks fuel in, or a bottle makes noise when you blow across the top.
  20. Read the article. It bounced. There's also a video
  21. You can set "load flightplan" to a key, then load it. The gps uses it like one direct waypoint after another.
  22. Where? I should be flying a Grumman Cheetah back to Atlanta from Texas soon.
  23. My X-Mas present to my flight insrtuctor. Poster size drawing of his plane. The pic quality is kinda low, but the drawing isn't.
  24. Thanks for the interest guys. I don't expect many people to care, but this is more for me.
  25. I would love to see some exterior shots of the vintage Beaver. But that pic will do for now. Zack- In FSE I've got two of the regs on two Beavers, Eaglewing has DH. And I might buy another.
