Goran never put one in his DC-3 and everyone's fine with that...or did he receive requests? Anyways, Mr. Randazzo is a retired (I believe) airline pilot and he probably owns a GA aircraft. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what they are modeling. I'd actually be quite happy if this were the case.
-
Indeed! Looks like the DC-6 could be a multi-platform release. I'm also hoping they will announce the 747 V2 as their next in-line.
-
You'll be disappointed, they have confirmed they won't migrate any of their legacy products. Maybe the 747 V2 could be in the works though.

FREE EFASS UltraWX Weather Engine RELEASED
glasscockpits replied to HarryCYUL's topic in General Discussion
Hi skifly, There is a plugin that comes with this software. Have you installed it per their directions? It works for me without any intervention on my part. The only complaint I have is the weather changes way too rapidly. You can go from overcast to no clouds at all in an instant. -
Well, FF is a European company, they know about these things.

Thanks Steve...

haha, sorry about that Nano, it's not my intention. Thank you cabnz1, much appreciated.

Scenery from simheaven and World2Xplane.

Hi Peter, How are the runways, apron and taxiways done? Do you just texture over the orthophoto? How do we achieve the higher resolution needed for it to look good? thanks
-
Hi Captain America, The add-ons are pretty much all listed in the generics at the end of the video. The base scenery is from simheaven, the OSM is built by World2Xplane and the HD mesh is included in the simheaven dsf but is done by alpilotX. Apart from that, the sky and clouds are from Aerosoft's Sky Tools (freeware), the airport was from the org (it might be available here in the downloads section also) and the 747 is the default airliner. A simple solution and it's pretty much all donation-ware. The atmospherics are done through art control modifications. There's a thread at Avsim on the subject, there might be one here also, search for art controls. cheers

Malaysia Airlines Boeing 747-400 landing at Strasbourg. One of the prettiest paint schemes ever.

Mexico City Xtreme by Taxi2gate MMMX
glasscockpits replied to scubajuan_new's topic in Scenery Development
I certainly agree with your statement. The problem is, the original poster was to keep us informed about development of this project. Taxi2gate converting their scenery to X-Plane is splendid news, are you guys doing the conversions? -

So, I guess we'll add Taxi2Gate Mexico to the X-Plane vaporware list... -

HI Nano, thank you for the compliments. The aircraft is indeed the default 747 and like you, I think the beacon reflections are overdone.
-
I felt like changing things around a little. Straight from the sim except gamma correction for two of the smaller clips.
-
We're getting there...excellent video.

Looking good Steve. Well done!

I just had to revisit Nice before moving on. This time in the Carenado Caravan.

This is already available. The scenery is from simheaven and the OSM buildings are from World2Xlpane.

This looks really promising Andreas. I'm anxious to see your screencasts. Keep up the good work. -
Thank you cabnz1

My European tour continues with a flight from Nice to San Remo and back. Lack of OSM at San Remo shows the difference in scenery realism.
