  1. Nice pictures. One nick pic, the contract is noticeably low. Maybe its just a thing one has to ignore, hehe. the area looks nice. The runway 13/31 was recently lengthened towards to lake, but i guess i could live without that. I may have to purchase this then. I will be starting solo cross-crountry runs soon, so says my instructor, so it will come in handy. still wish it had the night textures tho thanks again for the pics.
  2. Hello guys, i am really interested in the Florida scenery BUT, i am a little worried to spend all that money if my local airport area doesn't look that great. what i would like to know is if anyone could get some good pictures of the KLEE area and post them up so i may see how my local airport looks like before i buy. Thanks.
  3. wow, i hope they keep it open. And reading this, only days after i first watched "One Six Right", makes me feel sad. I liked the analogy they used in the film. Every airport is an on and off ramp to our highway in the sky.
  4. I for one love being able to tell ATC i can do the full approach procedure. Sure is better then asking for vectors to final.
  5. I wish the Florida version had the night textures. I just finished my night flight training here in real life and now i find it so cool to fly at night. Are there any plans to update the Florida scenery to this new enhanced version that you are doing with Norcal?
  6. Thanks Cam, Awesome to know i don't have to hound anyone to get the release date anymore. Will just be waiting on that newsletter, which is so much easier to do. woot. cant wait.
  7. may i suggest, a mailing list. i would like to be notified by email when the CRJ is released. that would be ideal, so cam, if you can make that happen, that would be awesome.
  8. really cool video, loved watching it, thanks much for posting it man.
  9. Well put Cam, where were you back when people were saying the same thing about the PMDG js41. lol, i remember readying those threads on avsim and going, jeez! when will it end. You make a good point, i can see how a bunch of people who have been flight simming for years can feel very comfortable flying with 2d panels, and may be a bit apprehensive about switching over to only having 3d. For some it can be a big move, but i believe once they see how well they look, feel, and work, they will really come to enjoy the feel of a 3d cockpit over 2d panels any day.
  10. LOL, Ben, and Cam, looks like you two have a good sense of humor eh? love it, when can i hear more? This 777 looks awesome, tho i wasn't thinking much about it before today i will keep it on my list of things to watch from now on.
  11. wow. very nice images. and i hope you picked up some people in that helicopter and took em to the hospital.
  12. wow nice photos. amazing, yeah do you know why he landed? maybe to pick up some snowballs and to throw them out of the helicopter at some unsuspecting tourists?
  13. ** slaps Goran ** Your a polygon freak! but I love you anyway keep up the good work.
  14. wow love the images. very crisp. must be wonderful to work around these birds on a daily basis.
  15. Wanted to point out the new site logo and website layout. also, you can now follow the updates on twitter.
  16. good luck tom on getting this to work. just looking over your thread here makes my head hurt, so i can just image what your feeling.
  17. You know, the things i always liked about modeling 3d cars was its great for the beginner, in the fact you don't really need a fancy texture job on them, as they are basically one color, but you can learn all about reflections and such. There is also HDRI in that render too. XP needs reflection mapping, ray traced like this, and i do believe OpenGL can accomplish this. It can do a lot of things that direct x can do despite what one may hear.
  18. Thanks for the offer there bud, At the moment however, i have all the information about weight and balance that i will need. I even have the correct CG limits on the sim already.
  19. lol, i think 52 passengers aren't that bad, at 500 polygons each. how you got them that low is amazing. but if you look at how many polygons some of us other developers are using, 26k is not much at all. hehe. If i had the nkowlage on how to make a person like you have there i would definitely jump on that band wagon and make me some passengers. I do love the copilot too. but uh oh, in America, remember we all have to be politically correct or the government will touse us down, so maybe a black and a women copilot is needed too, just kidding.....
  20. Thanks. Yeah, texturing like I have there takes time and effort, something not many people like to put forth. It is easy to think of it this way tho, the more time and effort put in the more likely you guys are to buy my product, hence, more money. Its a good trade off and will allow me to make a stunning product for you all to fly.
  21. WOW very nice there Jason.
  22. Thanks, As for systems, i plan on doing as much as i can system wise. the Q400 doesn't have a complicated EFIS setup like some other planes so that should make is straight forward. The FMC is another things all together, were programing is not my strong suite, i can dabble in it, but i cant and wont promises a feature rich FMC at this time, but it sure is on the back of my mind all the time. so in sumery, she will have all the EFIS pages, but maybe not a FMC, but the future can change things fast, so keep checking back in.
  23. Been having such a nice holiday vacation sine i got over having bronchitis. Been having such a great time intact, i was able to refine my texturing skills, which i would say have been pretty lacking to date. So, textured up the Right Engine Nacelle and i hope its satisfactory. The default livery will be Flybe as you can see from the pics bellow.
  24. I AGREE!
  25. Just realized the glareshield is way to big. so if that was something you noticed to, you were bang on.
