Orthrophotos looks amazing when they're done right, if one would simply apply a single gritty detail texture to it, it will look bad, but if you have an eye for detail and you would texture the cracks, the edges of taxiways. THEN it looks fantastic

Most of the time, people simply convert the MSFS paint to use in the xplane model... Simple conversions=little to no difference in object texture mapping

That's a good thing to do though, the model was freeware from Hiroshi Igami (FSX/FS9), you don't sell freeware models...especially without explicit permission from the authors

Many people uses flight simulators for enjoyment, without technically operating the aircraft addon like a real one does. Many scenery devs like me focuses on creating the scenery with little to no knowledge on operating the aircraft. Many developers created a cut down version of their ad dons, such as the majestic sim Q400 (comes in three versions). A simulator is a platform for all aviation enthusiasts, not just "hard core simmers" and "trainers". Finally I apologise for dragging this topic to another direction, again I wish the IXEG team best of luck in the completion of this great project.

Honestly, it wasn't meant to be an argument, you seemed to view my request as a potential topic to start a debate or an argument and you would start to obnoxiously reply. Also, in the place I live in, you have many options to choose what you want to eat in a quality restaurant, including just ordering parts of a main dish. But that's not related. @Morten, After you completed this great project, please have a thought about releasing a lite version...good luck on the project

I would like to purchase the lite version of the IXEG 737, meaning purely eye-candy and not system-deep, this version could suit those who enjoys flying and enjoy the modelling and texturing done by the developers. something like McPhat's ATR, but I am not too fond of their texturing work.

Not to worry! I think we all know the "freaking obvious", but whats more obvious is that you forgotten that I am requesting a basic version of the IXEG "Classic" 737. The x737 is a simulation of the NG series, and FlyJSim develops the original series. The freeware XPFW classic 737 is relatively old and I would like to buy a lite version of this plane, mainly for the exterior model and texturing. Like i said, I'm not like those people who actually uses the systems.

Great work on both the exterior and interior! That is some quality texturing you guys have got there! I can't wait! Is it possible that you guys could you offer two versions please? One is a "Lite" version with minimal systems, and perhaps at a reduced price, and the "professional" variant that includes all the systems you're working on? The reason I'm requesting this is because, unlike other simmers, I spent most of my time enjoying the exterior detail, and I develop sceneries so I don't understand and know how to fly a plane properly.

you cant change that, its x-plane's shader coding I guess, same thing hapens to x-plane 10's default, I guess Laminar go lazy at the cloud's rendering and simply plop a fog shader when you enter the clouds....

Im no expert but my guess is that I think the object shininess from the look of that.

I initially support V9 for my work too, but when i released LJPZ V2 (Both for v9 and v10), i found out that only 5% of total downloads was for the v9 version, so yes it is not feasible because practically over 90% of us have converted to the new v10. So it is logical that developers now turned to develop exclusively for v10, developing for 5% of the community isn't worth it for us developers, in the future I am sure you will eventually get a new computer that is able to run v10.

i don't think theres anymore passenger flights on the dc-10, now its used for cargo/freight, fedex still operates 60 DC-10, 45 of which is the DC-10-10 variant, and 15 DC-10-30 variants...

I have been banned from the org for awhile now, I was confused actually.... I was banned for literally...no reason. I did post on the forums and complimenting devs at the time, and download files, but that's it. Back in the days, I tried uploading the first version of LJPZ (From my already closed ALSG) on the org, and I immediately god very bad ratings purely for the reason being me publishing it with an .exe, the comments section getting "boos" etc etc etc....I was of course testing on ways to publish my work, i think an installer is a great way to make work look professional, I was much more naive at the time and did not think of users on other platforms. After that I stopped all activity on the forums, and then I got banned. I moved on and started to become active here.... Yes the Org forums is scary etc...But we just have to let go and move on, trying to argue with the mods through email etc wont help because they have made up their minds.

That looks much better than McPhat's...theirs looks too rusty and the windows looks like its not been cleaned since it was delivered...

all of us? in my situation...where society is so achievement-centered...having a computer that could run X-Plane 10 at enjoyable rendering settings...would be beyond miracle. I hope this jet would stay v9 compatible.
