  2. Hi Alt alerter sound dosent play but its present in the Sound/Custom folder. Gear up sound only play sometimes. Callouts/gpws volumes to low. Windows, Only plugins, RTH, XPUIPC latest fixed.
  3. I do spot and tested the alt_alert sound file in the sound custom folder so one should think its supposed to play.
  4. Had the same problem in Xplane since v9, using the saitek rudder pedals...still havent found a fix for it. Wish ixeg would make a code for the braking system itself to overcome this problem...or that laminar would fix it. "Would love to see sensitivity slider or curve for the brake axes like how the other axes have it set"

    Weird crashes?

Ok, today i used a 3d party gpu monitoring tool "gpuz" and did some real time monitoring. I did some testing, reset SMP and tried my best to overflow the vram by adjusting the SMP sliders, no joy. Everything is just working fine today, no problems at all with the same settings and the same flight. I will continue to use this gpu tool, it logs to a file and is a nice thing to have incase something like this happens again.
  15. Hi Today i had something weird happen, with SMP installed and already registered, suddenly the reg window popped up and opted me to register SMP a second time. After this X-Plane 10 x64 v10.32 started to lock up around 30mins after starting the exact same flight. 4 times this happened with a hard screen freeze with a sound loop, only way of recover was to push the reset button on the PC. The last time i just loaded the sim and sat at the airport doing nothing for approx 30mins and got a weird flashing graphical artifact in all kinds of colours before it crashed the Nvidia opengl driver. By monitoring the x-plane logs i have this lines at the end of the log file at each instance of the crash. Gizmo64: OpenGL<->Physics Offset Default Init: 7210.621, -213.633, 55226.094 Gizmo64: Tried to use physics engine without loading an OBJ8 file. Current target visibility is 100.000000 By taking out Gizmo and Silverlining i had no crashes. I also checked the Vram usage and it was at its normal usage. No heating issues and cpu and gpu usage was at approx 16. I am going to try and uninstall and reinstall the program just in case something got corrupted. Been using this setup with the same addons for a long time without any issues at all. May be worth looking into. SMP v2.1.1 FF757 v1.13X-Plane 10 x64 v10.32Win7x64 Ultimate SP1
  16. Good stuff.
  17. Hi Overlayeditor from here: http://marginal.org.uk/x-planescenery/tools.html Or World Editor from here: http://developer.x-plane.com/tools/worldeditor/ Open your airport where you have unwanted trees and make a exclusion zone for trees. Hope it helps.
  18. Example: mklink /d "C:\X-Plane 10\Custom Scenery" "e:\Custom Scenery" Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_symbolic_link An even easier way of doing it is downloading the symbolic link creator. Link: https://code.google.com/p/symlinker/ Hope it helps. Br P3r
  19. Amazing stuff, down to the minute details.
  20. It's easy to oc the new Asus stuff yes, but if you are lucky you get a cpu that likes to be oc'd alot, you could also get unlucky and get a cpu that dont like to be oc'ed. In my experience using hi bandwith ram when overclocking the cpu you dont have to worry about tweaking the ram, only set it to xmp. I use one SSD for the system and initial x-plane install and a big HDD with lots of cache where i put all custom scenery for x-plane via a symbolic link, this is because i use alot of photoscenery. For backup i use Norton Ghost to roll down the whole diskpartition in one big file. Br P3R
  21. Sorry if its a bit off topic Kieran. Thats a difficult question to answer because no one uses the same config in x-plane rendering options. I have two rules when setting up x-plane, when flying very complex airplanes i use half vsync to get smooth and steady 30fps. When flying not so complex stuff i run at vsync and get smooth and steady 60fps. So if i wanted i could run the SAAB at either 30fps or 60fps, it all depends on the rendering settings. Br P3R
  22. Awesome, finally able to enjoy flying hi alt jets.
  23. A tool to be able to adjust slope of runways and aprons. More runway and apron textures to choose from and mix. Gradient shallow/tropical water rendering.
