    Setting up X-Plane

    In the airport selection section of the flight configuration, there's a way to go to more detail (I forget what it's labelled as), and in that window it shows a large map of the airport, you can zoom in on the map and pick a gate. Or use the list on the lower left to select one by name. You may have to toggle from showing runways to showing ramp starts.

    Oh, you’re using both for 3-D cockpit? That’s unusual, hence my bad assumption, I’m sorry. This has been an issue with X-Plane’s handling of displays since release, I wouldn’t expect a fix soon.

    Try organising the displays in your OS so that the one used by X-Plane is on the left in the virtual desktop arrangement. And make sure the other one is set to "Unused" in X-Plane's Graphics settings.

    I hope so, I want it to work for you too. If you have any further questions about what or why I did something then post it here with the timestamp. Keep in mind I wasn’t using the checklists or virtual first officer, as general procedures weren’t the topic at hand.
