If you have a flight plan active, it will be centered on the active point. If you want it to be centered on the plane, click the FPL button and the Flight Plan window will go away and the map will center on the airplane

I noticed now that Gizmo64 is used by X-Aviation licensing, it is the 'annoying' little window which pops up every 10 days or so, asking to re-register the TBM.... It is the 5th time I am putting the same computer name and it is asking me to remove one of the previous, even if it is always the same.....
-
I also do not have a Navigraph subscription.... Also, from what I saw in this forum, the TBM is not yet integrating the Navigraph data

I had this issue a few times, it is easy to fix, just switch to manual for a while and select the tank having more fuel

Someone flies at Oppa Locka!
-
In my case, no. I have FlyWithLua installed, but I never used any script. To be honest, I had to Google Gizmo, to know what it is related to

It happened to me a few times also.... I don't know, I think that there are a few issues wit the plane, I still hope that the developers will help us. I took most of the failures as 'systems defects', but I am not sure that they always were, most of the times I could not find anything in the maintenance, all were like new and after restarting X-Plane, they were working fine. I saw Goran's post that the 11.50b10 might have some issues, but all the other add-on planes are working fine (Thranda Kodiak, HoldMyBeer SR22T, Aerobask DA62....), so maybe they should not blame it all on the b10. The TBM is one of the most expensive add-on planes, I am not diminishing their work, the plane is amazing, but we need it to work fine! By the way, are you using the beta version of the X-Plane?
-
You are absolutely right!

Just watch this video, you can find many on YouTube Search YouTube for "X-Plane 11 - Hot Start TBM 900" I cannot attach links...

Hi, If you had a crash, you must create a new airframe, otherwise it will always start in fire.... I learn this the hard way..... In the first few flights.... You must be careful with the startup procedure, it is for all turbine engines, be very careful with the 3 parameters (TRQ, NG and ITT), any of them getting in the RED, the fire is almost sure to start For the start let the NG reach 15%, fuel LOW IDLE, watch ITT (avoid hot start), let NG go to reach 51% (not hung start) then throttle to Flight Idle Any issues, cut fuel immediately! Never attempt to restart the engine, if the ITT is above 150C! Dry run the engine (fuel pump on, fuel lever cut, keep the starter for 15-20 seconds and watch ITT going down)

I tried a few add-on planes, they all seem to not have any G1000 issues I downloaded yesterday the HoldMyBeer SR22T freeware airplane (it is amazing by the way ) and it has no issues with the G1000, even if it is also 'tampered' The Kodiak is fine also Attached the SR22T approach, same approach like the one having issues in our TBM

It is 'healthy' to bring the plane to a stable position, then you can activate the AP, YD it activates with the AP. You can activate only the YD, if you want It is great that the 1.12 is addressing some of your issues I hope that Saso @skiselkovwill help us getting back the plane in pristine condition

For me, in the b10, besides the ILS issue, I feel that the plane is more 'picky' on the trims, especially the elevator trim Besides the small issues, the plane is a joy to fly!
-
I think that the Fuel page in the Systems in the G1000 MFD is just indicating the fuel amount in the tanks, I don't think that it is used for any calculations, at least not that I know I always planned my trip in advance, I knew the leg distance, I pick FL290 or FL300 for long trips and I am cruising at less than 60GPH At FL290 you have on average a ground speed of 300 knots, so the calculations are pretty easy If there are other features of the G1000, please tell me

You're welcome!

As I wrote in some other threads, this COVID lockdown I flown the TBM around the world in X-Plane. I had a few very strange happenings.... I stopped in Miami, Opa Locka - KOPF, Steveo1Kinevo's place and I thought to make a quick stop in Bahamas... Arriving at MYNN, I got some electrical failure, the engine stopped, luckily I was on the final, I thought that I can glide to the runway.... Suddenly the engine restarted and landed OK.... I doubt that they modeled the Bermuda Triangle in X-Plane or TBM.... But it was a really strange happening... I only realized that Bahamas is part of Bermudas later....

Just something to be aware, it seems that even for the real TBM, if the winds get strong, the AP disconnects sometimes! It happened to me a few times, once I crashed, because I was too confident that the plane is on AP and was not near it.... The other time I got the control and reactivated the AP

Hi, https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/38445-flywithlua-ng-next-generation-edition-for-x-plane-11-win-lin-mac/

For me it is not that bad, the plane is OK on manual flying, the RNAV approaches are working fine. The plane is a bit picky on the trims, but with some 'fights' it is OK Try with and without the Experimental Flight model, see if it makes any differences, I saw some messages where there were complaints, even if, I think, the plane should be flown with the Experimental model on. I always have it ON and it is OK How you lost the control, on autopilot, cruising, preparing to land?

This COVID lockdown I took the Hotstart TBM around the world in X-Plane 11 25000nm (47000km), 2 weeks time, but it was nice! You can confidently plan the fuel for your trips at an average of 60gph, 300knots speed, roughly 1500nm between refuels (depending on the winds), so if you are full, you can fly 5 hours without problems
-
Also, the issue seems to be only when the G1000 switches from the GPS to the ILS localizer. If I select any RNAV approach, no matter if LPV or LNAV+V, it goes smooth, follows the simulated glideslope and path up to the baro minimums

I can confirm that the other aircraft having G1000 are OK, tried C172 and the DR401
