  1. Nope super easy for me, I use a different profile setup in XP between the SR22 and the DA40NG and I adjust the brake curves on each one. No problem taxing around the airports at all.
  2. Delay is a symptom of the 12.1.3 beta builds, the 12.1.1 and 12.1.2 work fine and no delay in the main menu when selecting other aircraft. This only happens in the beta builds and affects not only the DA40NG but the LES C23 Sundowner 2.5 as well. The SR22 somewhat has delay but not as bad as the DA40 or C23 Sundowner
  3. First the DA40NG starts fine and no further crashing when the G1000 screens are popped out and everything seems so far to work perfectly. Thanks! 1. Once the DA40NG is loaded, going back to the X-Plane Main Menu to choose another aircraft there is a 3-4 second delay when you select another aircraft so clicking around on several aircraft at the main menu causes much delay waiting for the selection to highlight. Once you no longer have the DA40NG loaded and you have any other aircraft loaded, the delay is gone in the main menu 2. Pop-out screens at night are not auto detecting day and night correctly. The menu setting in the PFD is set for Auto and when starting up at night you get washed out screens until you manually go into the menu on the PFD and change the settings for PFD/MFD to about 4%. This then creates an issue during the day when you load it since at 4% the screens are black and you have to go back into that menu and adjust again. Stock G1000 aircraft do not exhibit this issue and Auto Setting works fine for day and night Log.txt
  4. So I've been flying nothing but the Sundowner the last few days, then this morning decided after loading the Sundowner first to change my mind and load the default C172. Once I did this I noticed that the items using custom datarefs IE: Course knob, Barometric knob etc. did not work in the default C 172 This was on 12.1.2r4 release of X-Plane So I loaded up the default 12.1.1 X-Plane with the Sundowner and of course the default C172 G1000 and did a test Loading up the default C172 first everything on the G1000 worked fine all knobs turned and changed their respective item IE: Baro, Course etc. I then loaded up the Sundowner. The Baro didn't work at all on the sundowner but the course did and the other few items I checked did as well so far. I then went back to the default C172 and the Baro and Course stopped working at that point. I then loaded the default SR22 and it was broke as well. The only way I could get those items to work is to shut down X-Plane and restart and use the default C172 or SR 22 first if I wanted. Something with those custom datarefs or something else with the Sundowner is still not correct for the G1000 Log-12.1.1.txt
  5. Removing this plugin resolved the issue with the VOR. Thank you
  6. Thank you for the response, For the G1000 Barometric Pressure, the Nav 1 Course and GPS Course and PFD/MFD Alt Sel inner knob not working, I have resolved this by reviewing the datarefs in the .obj file for the G1000 and assigned as needed to the CommandMapping.ini file for the RealSimGear G1000 hardware as noted below For the Avionics switch and landing lights I've found the datarefs used and created a .lua script so those are now working fine Yes I've figured out the fuel tank and we are good there as well. Seems coming into land I'm running out of not only elevator authority but also trim up? The only other thing I've run into and I assume its because of the 12.1.2r3 beta (tested on 12.1.1 release build and it worked) is that the VOR ID and DME doesn't work as shown below in yellow for 12.1.2r3 beta. Note, all my other aircraft including defaults show this information fine its only the Sundowner that does not in the beta 12.1.2r3 12.1.1
  7. One more issue after flying today with the plane, which does fly really nice. When you load it up the radio sound in the main sound gui of XP either is completely off or completely on and will not stay where I set it. This is the aircraft I have that does this and when changing to another aircraft the radio sound is full blast. Is there any way to make it not do that?
  8. On the G1000 when popped out to RealSimGear hardware or even when not the following are not working and can't be changed 1. Course knob for Nav1, Nav2 and GPS mode does nothing when popped out 2. Barometric pressure knob does nothing and can't adjust the setting 3. PFD/MFD Alt Sel inner knob changes to 500 and then does nothing. Outer knob works fine Misc Switches not working 1. Landing and Taxi lights commands can be assigned to external hardware, but they don't move the switch at all 2. Fuel tank can switch left and right but no off? Or is the handle only move using the left and right command? This is what is seems 3. Avionics switch can't be assigned to external hardware and the default does not work to move the switch Log.txt
  9. Yeah the SR22's can be finicky to start sometimes. 1. Make sure you have a new profile for them in XP configured so you can assign all the switches and such. Never had an issue with the flaps, they are using the stock Laminar one so that's strange. You can find the datarefs by typing in AFM 2. To start I use my SR22 checklist (both aircraft start the same way) and it works spot on every time - Battery 1 and 2 on - Check voltages - Mixture Rich - Power lever full - Fuel pump goes to prime for a second or two, the move to low boost - Power lever to 1/4" open Hit the starter and then slowly advance the throttle if it does not start by 1/2 way to 3/4 go to idle and stop the starter. Then hit the starter again and slowly move up. Normally the 2nd one starts it right up and then ALT 1 and 2 are turned on. Fuel pumps stay on until your in cruise. Dataref search to assign switches
  10. Can not duplicate with the ATC window in either my normal XP12 install or my default install.
  11. Worked around the issue with the Prime and Boost function by not assigning the middle off button to anything. Although when moving from boost to off it does nothing, a click flip to prime springs the switch to the off position, I can live with this.
  12. V2.1.0 - SR22 Fuel Boost/Prime switch works fine with my 3 position switch. I have it set as follows below (would be better if we could have a boost / off / prime only selection to assign to each one) When starting up its aways on Prime and I just move to off and its all good and all three positions work fine UP = Off/Boost Middle = Off/Prime Bottom = Off/Prime Using the same setup in the SR22TN however, when loading the aircraft the switch starts in the prime position (same as SR22) but when I move to the off position with my hardware switch it does not go there it stays in Prime. If I move to the Boost position it then goes off. Its not acting the same as it does in the SR22 aircraft. Log.txt file included, started with the SR22TN and tested it then to the SR22 where it worked fine. Log.txt
  13. Loaded up the SR22TN (v2.1.0)tonight and got the same washed out displays as the DA40NG has. Once I powered down the aircraft XP crashed, filed the bug report with Laminar as well. Here is the screenshot of the displays and log.txt from the event. Small update, I can resolve this by changing the settings on the PFD to manual instead of Auto and at night setting to 4.00%. However when going back to day mode of course then you can't see the display at all and have to change to Auto to adjust but then this messes up Night mode again. Log.txt
  14. One more log.txt file, flew a flight fine during the day but when I shut down the aircraft and powered off it crashed. Seems this is the same as night time, once you power off the aircraft it crashes after that or at least that how it seems to act. Log.txt
  15. Started this as a new thread just in case. v 1.1.0 Install was fine and during the day everything works great, displays pop out and all is good. However at night the displays are well, unusable and then after a short time it crashes. I did submit the information for the crash to Laminar but wanted to post here about the displays being messed up with images The display issue at night happened in the 1.0.2 version as well but did not crash the sim. Log.txt
  16. Yep works for me fine, the SV does work somewhat, I don't crash from using it but it does work. I've had to fix a few small things like trim, ap and power but outside of this I have it working well and been flying all over with it the last month or so.
  17. I agree with this, video I watched of this is exactly how it should work
  18. Yep I see that drop as well as soon as I click off the AP

    Manual?

Here is the full AFM I had that I just found as well. DA40-NG-AFM-r3-complete.pdf
  20. I have not flown an ILS yet but I've flown with the AP a few times and when turning it off do not get a sharp drop. I'll setup an ILS flight and check it out.
  21. Thanks for the info, yes I just stumbled across this as well so going to run another test as I think I've been using it wrong (don't know why, its Monday!)
  22. First flght test from KDVT to KCHD. Started on left tank and about 10 mins into the flight switched to right tank. Fuel temp for right tank went red maxed and right fuel tank drained. Switched back to left tank and completed flight no problem. Second test started out from KDVT with 3/4 tanks and specifically on the left tank. Enroute to E25 and about 3/4 of the way there about 5 gals used on the left tank I switched to the right tank. Right before landing all of a sudden a loss of power, I noticed right fuel temp was maxed in the red and right tank was drained (not using the auto fuel xfr switch its turned off) switched back to the left tank and engine restarted and completed landing. log.txt is from KDVT to E25 second testLog.txt

    Manual?

I used this for the checklists and stuff. Haven't found a manual for the aircraft yet DA40_NG_Checklist_Edit17_3_A4.pdf
  24. I had the SR22 loaded from XP11 in XP12 and never experienced this issue until I removed it and loaded the new XP12 SR22. The stock Laminar SR22 which has some of the same engine instrument pages but not all does not exhibit this issue at all either when switching between G1000 aircraft (I know this one is way more complicated in the settings than the stock one)
  25. A few issues with the new SR22 - Loading up the SR22 the G1000 works fine no issues however once I change to another aircraft that uses the default G1000 the engine instruments no longer appear. I have to exit XP12 and go back into it and the other aircraft engine instruments then show up fine. I tested with SV on and off and same issue. On the Non Turbo and Turbo SR22, the fuel pump starts in prime position and I would think it should be in the off position after loading aircraft? However on the Non Turbo SR22, I can use my 3 position fuel switch to toggle out of prime to off and then to boost and off and no issues at all. On the Turbo SR22, the 3 way fuel switch toggle that works in the non turbo SR22, does not work correctly in the Turbo model. I can not toggle out of Prime I have to manually use the mouse to switch to off. I can go to boost and off but once I go back to Prime it will not come out of prime unless I use the mouse I've included a video from XP12 (kinda crappy video but you can see it) but I started with the default C172, engine instruments are present in PFD and MFD, changed to the SR22 and engine instruments are on MFD once loaded up. Then changed back to default C172 and engine instruments are missing on PFD and MFD once loaded https://youtu.be/4gTlgd-wADg Log.txt
