  1. This is not something we can control or fix on the "aircraft" side. This is something the scenery developers need to look into.
  2. There's nothing you can do on your end. You could ask the ground traffic author to implement some kind of debug info so he can see what's going on when the crash happens. Another example is that I've seen the JAR Design ground traffic cause the sim to crash many times, even with default aircraft. Adding debug info is very easy to implement for any dev, so it shouldn't be an issue.
  3. Not at all. It doesn't upset me. But too many people think that because 1 payware add on works without problems, they all must work without problems. I just wanted to clear up that this is not the case. Check your scenery at your airport. Many times the scenery can cause the aircraft to "drop" onto the apron or the runway if it isn't created correctly.
  4. First of all, the parking brakes. They work like on the real aircraft. You need to pressurize the brakes first. Apply brakes normally with pedals or a key stroke. Please note. When I say apply brakes, I do not mean apply parking brakes. Apply BRAKES, then apply parking brakes. The parking brakes hold the brake pressure. I'll address one thing you said in your post at x-plane.org. We ask everyone to please not compare payware aircraft with other payware aircraft. All payware is created differently, and therefore operates differently when other plugins are thrown into the mix. As for your other issues. Make sure you do not have failures enabled in the X-Plane menu. Before loading it again at the airport of your choice, try loading it at a default airport with minimal scenery. A good airport we use for testing is SCIP. Give that a try and post back results. Also, if it crashes again, please post your log.txt. Not your TBM900_log.txt
  5. As I was reading your post, as soon as I saw "custom scenery/crashes started", I immediately thought of ground traffic. A few aircraft add ons have had problems with ground traffic, and it could be because of many different combinations of add ons or plugins. It's very hit and miss.

    strange crash

Could you include log.txt and TBM900_log.txt so I can have a look at what happened.
  7. Thanks for this mini review. We're definitely looking at adding a few things. There'll be a couple of nice little surprises in the next update. Also, librain will be added in the future as well.
  8. Are you talking about the stability of the aircraft or the engines?

  10. We'll discuss internally and possibly reduce the reflection. In the meantime, you can open the normal map in photoshop and reduce the opacity in 5% increments until you're happy. Just back up the original

    G1000 Bugs

We know the issue, and we're looking at a way to fix it. It's not overly complicated, but it's something that could place the fault evenly on Laminar and us.

    G1000 Bugs

Many apologies, I didn't even see these posts. I'll bring these up with Saso and post back
  13. The server needed to run this part of the TBM is playing up due to a server migration issue. It should be fixed in a couple of days.
  14. It's definitely not Silver Lining, because I also have Skymaxx installed and I get no crashes. I do notice Skunkcrafts updater. I'm a little cautious about that plugin. It's caused some random issues with the TBM as well. Have you tried removing that?
  15. @skiselkov ^
  16. We found it to be a little exaggerated and a fix will be in the next update.
  17. Not necessarily. Example: for months, everyone thought it was the Saab's fault that X-Plane was crashing when run with xEnviro, because it wasn't crashing with any other add on. We thought so, at first, too. To the point that Jim and Ben went through the Gizmo code and the Saab code to see if anything was amiss. Andrej (xEnviro developer) finally decided to look into it, at my urging, and with several other people willing to run some tests, found it WAS xEnviro at fault. The problem was found and the crash happened whenever xEnviro would pull weather from the weather server. It was fixed for their next update. Add ons are made to run with vanilla X-Plane. If a crash happens, we'll look into it, but we can only do so with a log file and with the help of the user by eliminating some plugins and seeing if the problem disappears. Then we can take it further depending which add on is to blame.

    No sound

The basic/lite add ons are definitely more suited to some people, like yourself. Good to see you have found what you are looking for. Enjoy.

    Crash On Exit

If it crashes again, please post it immediately after the crash.
  20. There are a lot more fixes coming than just the bank angle fix. It'll feel like a new add on.
  21. We're looking at possible alternatives.

You didn't post a log file, so we can't see what is happening. Like Jim said, we've had no reports of this happening for anyone else. I know a streamer who constantly streams in VR, and he has flown the Saab many times on stream. This is definitely something on your end.

    Crash On Exit

Please see this post. There is a log.txt file in the root folder. That is the one we need. Not the TBM900_Log.txt file. See the image below. This is part of my root folder that shows both log files. I need the one that I left highlighted in blue.
  24. Keep in mind, it could also be something with shared cockpit. I can't say for sure, as I don't have it, but definitely explore all avenues for this one.

    Crash On Exit

Understood, but there is information at the start of the log file that we can use to diagnose any problems as well. That's why we ask people to attach the file when making a post.
