  1. This still needs looking into. It could be either something on your end or something in X-Planes autopilot. I doubt it's in the TBM, but if it happens again, can you post back?

    CTD 11.30 R2

R2 has presented some issues that weren't in the TBM in R1. If you don't have a backup of R1, you could either hold off until the next X Plane update or revert to 11.26.
  3. As long as it's on, it's always working. It's an Angle of Attack indicator. 1 green bar at the bottom means optimal angle of attack. As soon as you start increasing AoA (slowing down, while maintaining altitude), you'll get all indicators, except the bottom one. This is telling you your AoA has slightly increased. As you continue to slow down, while maintaining altitude, the green bars slowly disappear into the yellow. If you keep slowing down, and don't lower the nose, the bars will keep disappearing. Once you are in the red, a stall is about to happen. Remember, the bars DISAPPEAR as your AoA increases. This is to declutter the display to make it easier to see out the front. http://www.alphasystemsaoa.com/index.php?id=35
  4. It can be folded down. I suppose we can look into making a clickspot for it to enable/disable it for the next update.
  5. It doesn't look like you have Gizmo installed. You should have a Gizmo tool bar upper right. Have you disabled it or removed it?
  6. Ok. It's best to not assign anything to avionics because the G1000 powers up with electrical power in the TBM. I'll leave that to you.
  7. So you're STILL not seeing the MFD in it's entirety?
  8. Make sure you check all sections of the maintenance manager. The root cause of gear failure could be electrical.
  9. Toto does have an option in the latest update to turn it off.
  10. I can understand your frustrations. Rest assured, this is definitely something on your end, because we haven't had anyone have any issues like this. My advice is to install a clean copy of x plane, no plug ins and no scenery and use that for testing purposes. Install the TBM in there and as you say, see what happens.
  11. Then it's possible you don't have all files installed to display the MFD. Can you try running the X-PLANE installer (Not the TBM installer) and that will install any missing files.
  12. This is Laminars heat blur. Toto got rid of the original one he made due to a few issues. He's looking into it.
  13. I tried a quick circuit, and couldn't reproduce. I'll try a few more times and see if it happens.
  14. Did you set your LFE (Landing Field Elevation) Did you set Bleed to Auto and Pressurization to Auto?

    Crashed

I understand, but this can also happen when there is a conflict between the TBM and other plugins. That's why we always ask people to remove pugins and test again, so we can be sure. Then we can narrow it down.
  16. @wsando1 @jeffrds Looking at the log files, both are showing something in X-Plane crashing. If you check the end of the log, x-plane.exe is crashing. It is most likely something with the G1000 on their end. I won't say that's definite, but can I suggest you send the same logs to Laminar and file a bug report.
  17. Please remove ALL plugins, except Gizmo and try again. If it works without crashing, then it's a plugin causing the crash. The best way to determine which one is by putting the plugins back, one at a time. Unfortunately, that's the only way we can determine it.
  18. Turn off heat blur. You should gain a few fps.
  19. Disregard. Just close that box. Unfortunately, it will come up each time it loads, so apologies for that. The next update will have that fixed.
  20. Can you remove all plugins, except Gizmo, and try again?
  21. Have you tried creating a new airframe? If this doesn't work, then post your log.txt file.
  22. No, I mean did you try to repair it using the TBM maintenance manager. While on the ground, open the TBM side bar on the lower left, and click maintenance manager. Go to avionics, and click "Access". Is anything "broken" on the MFD?
  23. Did you try repairing it in the maintenance manager?
  24. Can you post a screenshot?
  25. Interesting. Thanks.
