  1. Good luck. Please post back the results.
  2. Only if you have the original 1.1.6 folder Can you post a log.txt file?
  3. You could try that if you like. Failing that, head on over to the discord and DM Saso (totoritko) directly.
  4. Yeah, I saw you using Steam in your log. That's why I suggested downloading the trial. Otherwise, I would just tell you to move your X-Plane folder out of the Program Files folder. Austin does warn against installing the sim in Program Files, but I don't know what effect it would have when installed via Steam.
  5. Time to get serious. Sorry to make you do this, but can you download the demo of X-Plane and install it on your desktop. No scenery. Bare naked X-Plane. Then install the TBM in that, and try again. I'm sorry to ask you to do this, but you are literally the only person with this specific problem. The reason I am asking you to do this is because if X-Plane does not close on the demo version, then it's a 100% certainty that it's some kind of hardware or software (Windows itself) issue you're experiencing.
  6. @skiselkov Any ideas?
  7. Found something interesting. Can you somehow remove or disconnect Airport Navigator from X-Plane, and then try again?
  8. Try something a little drastic...if you don't mind losing an airframe. Close the sim completely. Uninstall the aircraft using the TBM uninstaller found in X-Plane 11/X-Aviation. After running the uninstaller, delete the Aircraft/X-Aviation/TBM 900 folder to make sure any leftover files are gone. Delete the Output/TBM900 folder. Run the installer. Reload the sim selecting any default aircraft. Switch to the TBM. Try to shut the sim down. If that works, restart the sim. Select the TBM in the Aircraft Selection screen. Wait for it to load. Shut the sim down. Post back with results.
  9. It's ok, Ray Just remember there are always people around who will help you. But keep in mind... we're regular people who sleep, eat, spend time with our families, but we always come back here to see if anyone needs help. We can't always respond IMMEDIATELY. Regarding the engines, like Cameron said...it's simply not possible due to the systems complexity to start with engines running. Call it an X-Plane limitation. If it were even remotely possible, we would look into it and maybe add that option.
  10. Computer viruses don't catch fire. How many updates were you expecting within 3 weeks? The vast majority of developers publish 3 updates in as many years. And you're considered lucky if you get THAT many. The TBM we made is coded to ignore that tickbox (Start with engines running) because of it's complexity. Once you go through the included tutorials, you can start it up in less than 1 minute. To get the covers off, just open the maintenance manager, visible off to the left hand side, and click on each spot where the covers are. Another 10 seconds of clicking. And that's only if you put the covers on when you flew the aircraft last. (All this is in the manual, by the way. Hopefully you read it, because it took a little bit of effort to put it together). The other method is to do a virtual walkaround of the aircraft, and click on each cover. They simply disappear. We made this aircraft to operate like the real world counterpart. That includes covers and flags. When you calm down, feel free to come back here and ask any questions you like. I'll be more than happy to answer them for you. Alternatively, as Ben suggested, the Carenado TBM 850 might be more suited to you. Regards, Goran
  11. log.txt?
  12. Log.txt file?
  13. Definitely sounds like an ortho tile if it's at the same location. Yes, please post back if you find it.
  14. This shows X-Plane crashing from "something" as seen at the bottom of the log. Can I ask you to try sending the log file to Laminar and seeing if they can determine if it's the sim or the TBM? Hopefully they can come back with some more info for us to use.
  15. Do you have anything assigned to any part of the avionics in any hardware profile? If so, you will need to remove thew assignment. Otherwise, this may be something for Laminar to look at, as we're using their G1000.
  16. This might be a bit drastic, but can you remove the "state" folder and reload the aircraft. We need the log.txt file. But I'm assuming your drivers are outdated. You will need current drivers if you cannot even load the aircraft.
  17. I tagged the programmer in my previous post so he can also see what is going on. When he finds out what is causing it, he'll make a fix and we'll publish it. In the meantime, can you remove all your plugins except Gizmo, and try again. If it crashes again, post your log file.
  18. Did you try the "remove all plugins except Gizmo" routine?
  19. Can you reinstall your AMD drivers and restart/reload the sim. Also, remove all plugins except Gizmo, and try again. It's only been 24 hours. We're trying to help everyone.
  20. Two things for you to try in the order given. Update Graphics drivers and see if that helps. If it still crashes after updating the graphics drivers, remove XSquawkbox, and see if that fixes it.
  21. It'll have to be determined if it's the TBM's fault or LiveTraffic's fault. We'll look into it on our end, but perhaps you could even make a post in their forum and ask them if they can look into it. At the moment, it could be anything, and I would be guessing if I tried to come up with a reason as to why it's happening.
  22. Very glad you're getting trouble free flying now. Now go and put some miles on that thing!
  23. 1st thing to try is to turn off AI and see if it happens again. If it happens again... 2nd thing to do is remove all plugins except Gizmo and then try again. Please remove them. Do not just disable them.
  24. log.txt is the file we need. Found in the root folder. But only immediately after the crash, as it gets overwritten every time you start the sim.
  25. Outdated graphics driver. Update to latest and the crashes should stop.
