  2. All I can tell you is that it is closer to being finished. As Tom Kyler would say "We're 98% finished with 64% to go" We're all still plugging away at it, 7 days a week. We'll post more info as it comes to light.
  3. Freeware... http://en.softonic.com/s/mgrab Payware... http://www.techsmith.com/snagit-gslp.html?gclid=CNymgvnR5rUCFWhNpgod81wAsQ
  4. If they are custom lights with a light spill added, they will need HDR to be enabled. Light spill only works with HDR.
  5. Encouraging
  6. We might have to try to keep the wife happy.
  7. I'll send a more recently updated flight model to XA sometime today or tomorrow. I made a few more adjustments in the last few days. I will also post a small set of instructions for the brave ones who don't mind making the adjustments themselves.
  8. That came across a lot better and clearer. An updated flight model was made and submitted to X-Aviation in December. Please contact X-Aviation about this. http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
  9. I just tested the Duchess in X-Plane 10.11 and 10.20, and I see nothing wrong with it at all. When trimmed, it flies perfectly steady. Autopilot is also working correctly. If you want any kind of assistance, first, I recommend you show a little more tact. Coming in here and making outrageous opinions like "it flies horribly", is not the best way to go about getting any kind of help. State the issue and provide as much detail as possible. Opinions, literally, do nothing to help me identify the problem.
  10. You're only in 10.10r3?? At least update to 10.11, which is the latest stable version.
  11. Something I REALLY wanted to make. Some people say it's ugly. I say it's "charming"! No doubt Javier can do it justice.
  12. Rhydian I've been getting quite a few requests on the AEW variant and we are on the fence about whether or not to do it. I don't have so much of a problem making the mods to the flight model and modelling the extra bits around the exterior, but the interior would take up too much time. As a result of this, IF we do one later, it will be soon after we release the original package and it will only be the external changes.
  13. A tutorial was always going to be done for this aircraft. That was a must. We've decided which 2 cities will serve as origin and destination and work will begin on it within the next week. It won't be extensive but it will be more than enough to get from point A to point B while using many of the aircraft's systems. Screenshots will also be included as visual aids.
  14. Too many elements depend on range. I can give you a long range flight at an altitude of 25 000 feet with no wind, ISA conditions, Engine AI off and an aircraft weight of 28 500 lbs will get you about 1500nm on a full load of fuel. Time to complete the flight will be about 6 hrs
  15. Depends on a few things, but approximately 25 000 ft.
  16. Thanks. Yes, clouds are default.
  17. The official word is... It is still in development and getting very close. We are working on it, literally, every single day since mid 2012. Recently, a few "issues" were noticed that we are fixing.
  18. Cheers, gents! Let me think about it. I'll get back to you.
  19. While putting the Saab 340 through some testing, Theo captured this screenshot climbing to 20 000 feet. It's definitely getting there!
  20. Nice video, Steve. Subscribed. Look forward to more of them!
  21. I feel for you, Colin. Same thing happened to me with the 747. Luckily, i had most of my files saved in dropbox as ghost images and was able to retrieve them. Not meaning to make this sound like an "I told you so!", but if you're going to make something for X-Plane, or anything else, you need a back up drive or some other kind of backup (cloud). Not doing so is like swinging on a trapeze without a net. Best of luck in getting your stuff back.
  22. The 787 is an incomplete project. Once Boeing sell enough of them, and make more money, they'll add more features to it and make it a complete aircraft. (Sorry, couldn't resist! Too far maybe?)
  23. We all do. It's a well known fact that Nicolas runs the org with his emotions. After everything that has been going on recently, he's made it quite obvious.
  24. Steven There are definitely isolated cases where transactions have gone awry for an unfortunate few. For all intents and purposes, Nicolas, almost definitely handles the majority of transactions with some degree of professionalism. It's the way he treats SOME of the customers whose transactions have not gone as smoothly as yours. If someone pays you to take photographs of their wedding, and they get their prints but they were unhappy with their prints (Not that that would EVER happen!), and they came into your office and started complaining about quality. You would NOT immediately kick them out of your store and lock the door. You would handle the situation with a certain degree of professionalism that would calm them down and you would come to some kind of resolution. Cameron does this on the odd occasion that an activation or transaction hasn't gone smoothly. It's painfully obvious that Nicolas doesn't understand this...and it's giving new X-Plane users a very bitter taste. If it was someone with an agenda, then there may be underlying factors. But these are new x-plane users who wish to move on to a new and improving flight sim. This is simply a hobby for many people who just want to have a bit of fun. Nicolas is taking it way too seriously and just being rude and disrespectful.
  25. Regardless of all that...does what you did really warrant a ban? No.
